To think throwing milkshakes over people is disgusting?

So apparently it’s okay to chuck milkshakes over people we disagree with?

Now, I do not like Tommy Robinson, Carl Sargon, or Farage. However, I think that chucking cold food at them, or threatening to, is pathetic. If you disagree with them, then debate them. Take down their argument intelligently. Chucking a cheap milkshake makes you look like a toddler.

Brexit Party are low enough to make it a PR stunt, it wouldn’t surprise me

Ivegotthree · 24/05/2019 14:06

Totally agree. It scares me how anti free speech people are becoming.

Ivegotthree · 24/05/2019 14:07

Well said Rivers

BertrandRussell · 24/05/2019 14:30

Sorry? Who’s anti free speech?

DizzySue · 24/05/2019 15:06

I can't stand the man but I agree milkshake throwing is pretty low.

I can imagine the reaction if this happened on the playground at school during a squabble. Children would be punished, parents involved, staff supervision question etc. It's just not how people should behave.

If you had packed your child off to school with his lunch which on that day happen to include a cherry yoghurt and he came home with it splattered down his front and he told you that the nasty 'older' kids had thrown a milkshake over him wouldnt you be a tiny bit suspicious? Hmm

Farage is simply trying to enact the result of the referendum when parliament wont. He is a hero to many

Lifecraft · 24/05/2019 16:57

Farage is simply trying to enact the result of the referendum

The referendum result was 52:48, so by definition a soft Brexit. I don't think Farage has any intention of enacting that.

People seem to have lost sight of the fact that everyone gets represented after an election. When the Tories won the last election, it doesn't mean no Labour MPs get to sit in parliament. The losers get their fair representation, but not as much as the winners.

Remain lost, but so did hard leave. The result was soft leave.

Yeah like all those people in scunthorpe he convinced to vote themselves out of a job. What a hero...

How many more job losses will it take for people to realise Nige wants to take us into the abyss? All for a nice tax break for his chums.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 24/05/2019 18:25

Dana Farage is clearly a hero to you.

No

@Dana28 With that attitude, we are heading for even more chaos and violence.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 24/05/2019 20:34

I wonder would I get censored if I suggested...

We should start attacking the far left Nazis (anyone who isn't right wing) & remain supporters, they are all antisemitic terrorist supporters and deserve everything they get. We should photograph all the attacks, post memes of them all over the internet, ban them from social media and censor them from the MSM. Their views are vile and their non-personing should be encouraged. If anyone dares to report this we should deny it happened and dismiss it as fake news/stunt/conspiracy.

Or we could hope a new PM would read the police the riot act and order them to start arresting people for violent assaults. Arrest any police officers and reporters who encourage violence. Bring back free speech and stop the censorship of any view that isn't far left.

I despair for our hard won freedoms.

GiantKitten · 24/05/2019 20:38

“far left Nazis”

FFS Hmm

Alsohuman · 24/05/2019 20:39

Good luck with that. There aren't any attacks to film. A million + people who want another referendum marched through central London with no arrests a few weeks ago. Contract thev rabble outside Parliament who routinely harass Anna Soubrie. You live in a parallel universe.

Langrish · 24/05/2019 20:42

whowasit

“The only time food and drink should be thrown is when its being thrown in the bin.”

Shame on you whowasit (finger wagging emoji if I could find one).

Have you never heard of rissoles a la leftovers? You’ll have to mug up sharpish if we leave with no deal Grin.

@Dana28.No

Errrr...yes.

I'm taking 100 people abroad on a group holiday so we have a vote, UK or abroad. Vote is 52:48 abroad. So 48 don't want to go abroad at all, and of the 52 that do, some won't want long haul, some won't want strange food, etc.

I'd arrange a trip to Paris, maybe Bruges, or Amsterdam. Barcelona at a push.

Fucking Farage would take us all trekking thru the forests of Borneo living off berries. Abroad means abroad!

The cunt!

colouringinpro · 24/05/2019 21:35

I think we should be talking more about the many female MPs receiving thousands of vile rape and other threatening tweets every day, rather than a few fascists crying over spilt milkshakes Angry

RiversDisguise · 24/05/2019 21:55

Rape tweets....meh. I'm with Germaine in the issue. It's just a penis, not a weapon.

Alsohuman · 24/05/2019 22:48

Disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourself.

BertrandRussell · 24/05/2019 22:54

“Disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourself”
Yes. And you should re read Germaine. I think you might have misunderstood her the first time ..

RiversDisguise · 25/05/2019 00:02

So you believe a tweet from a fantasist against a grown woman is worse than an actual physical attack on a pensioner?

RiversDisguise · 25/05/2019 00:04

No, I read a lot. I like Greer and I like Paglia's recent thoughts. We need to move away from the infantilisation of women and depiction of them as weak victims. But that is certainly a debate for another thread.

Back to how it's great to assault old men, I guess.
