My family think I must have shares in Sudocrem because i recommend it for almost any ailment 😁😁

Latest proof: friction burn from dog lead walking accident (don’t ask)... medics recommended keep clean, loose dressing, leave it to heal naturally.. 1 week later, no better.

3 days of Sudocrem - virtually fixed, almost expect new foot to grow shortly !

who will join me in the Ode to Sudocrem - or even recommend new potions with magical powers that I can add to my list?

I think the poster was being facetious Smile

Ihatehashtags · 21/05/2019 08:24

Yep it’s amazing stuff!

HeronLanyon · 21/05/2019 08:33

bean and nosauce I was indeed jesting. I was going to keep it going but had a fear the thread (perhaps wider mn) would then think of me as the one who used sudocrem for weeks for some unmentionable problem. Wink

Cyclist here, sudocream is great for saddle sore after a long ride.

Charlieandthechocolatecake · 21/05/2019 17:00

Can I just add that there is nothing more satisfying then opening a fresh tub of sudocrem. The smooth peeling of the seal just does things for me noan can. It's a rare pleasure as they last so long!

@musketeersmumma 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Amazing - true life magic miracles!!

Ouch ouch, poor dog... winced reading, poor thing. Very glad Sudocrem worked it’s magic xxx

Never been without a pot since Mum bought it for my acne as a teen. I cycle every day for work and as a side effect get the odd friction burn from contact with the saddle (or if my pants have sat awkwardly 😂) and it's absolutely miraculous stuff.
Also excellent for blind spots caused by ingrown hairs.

😖😖 I've had a "depilation" incident today.

I took my epilator to my underarms (I've done them hundreds of times before) and for some reason they were stinging like a pissed off wasp.

I've slapped on some Sudo, and aside from walking about like I'm a little teapot, my pits are soothed.

Glad to see Sudo is still saving the humans, animals and teapots of the world!!!

I'm taking a travel pot of the magic potion on holiday.

We kept chickens when we were kids, and every so often a fox or badger would go for them.

One got bitten. Big chunk out of her. Popped her in a box with sudocrem on the would. Miracle recovery ensued! Though she did have a nervous cluck everafter.

Ohshit9 · 25/05/2019 10:22

Whichever poster it was that suggested sudo as a face mask - thank you! Supersoft skin and reduced redness 😁

@dementedpixie and @bagpiss
Where do you buy the little pots/tubes?

SolitudeAtAltitude · 11/09/2019 17:05

the zinc oxide in it is good, but it is very drying, so not great on dry skin

Works a treat on post depilation bikini line though Grin all that angry red chicken skin be gone!

amusedbush · 11/09/2019 17:11

Right, sorry to lower the tone but for the past three months or so I've had a sort of... scabby/spotty rash on my arse cheek. No idea how it came about and it's just not clearing up at all. It's about the size of my palm so not unnoticeable.

Should I buy some sudocrem? Will it give me my arse back?

MyCatPeedOnTheCurtains · 11/09/2019 17:11

Oh yes, we usually have two tubs on the go.

MyCatPeedOnTheCurtains · 11/09/2019 17:12

Also put it on our cats if they have a small injury. Wonder cream.

cantfindname · 11/09/2019 17:21

@ratspeaker I use it on my horses noses. Both have pink noses and photosensitivity when the buttercups are in flower. Works a treat.

Also always have some at home for whenever needed. Brilliant stuff but do wish it wasn't so hard to wash off clothing.

CoraPirbright · 11/09/2019 17:34

Ah you see ‘magic cream’ in our house is reserved for Epaderm ointment which is brilliant for eczema etc. However sudocrem is fantastic stuff and I am thrilled to hear that it is a good face mask!

Does anyone else love the ad with the tai-chi practising pandas?!

Toddlerteaplease · 11/09/2019 18:07

Agreed. Had a teenager at work with a slight pressure area.. they'd been putting Cavilon on with no effect. Suggested Sudocreme to mum and it was miraculous!

Blutopia · 11/09/2019 18:20

It is indeed amazing stuff. Although I feel obliged to report that when I smeared a modest amount on my dogs itchy belly (allergy scratching), she licked it straight off and then proceeded to vomit white foam throughout the night. But my dog is a sicky dog, we call her Queen Pukathon.

Still brought the hives right down though.

Personally I like germolene for spots, and savlon for slightly less sticky healing powers.
