To Ask for a Handhold?

Posting here for traffic really. I'm sitting in a hospital waiting room having just coming put of my second mammogram in 10 days. I was called back for extra images because they found some calcifications in one breast. I'll be called in for an ultrasound shortly. Bloody terrified. My dsis has just come thru breast cancer. Wonder am I next.

Mine turned out to be a papilloma, had it removed and all good since

Thank you so much for saving my sanity. I was so close to throwing up in my handbag with nerves until you lot showed up yesterday morning!!

So we're nearly out of the woods. One pathologist has signed off on my having something called sclerosing adenosis. While it looks just like breast cancer on a mammogram it's completely harmless. They're still waiting for a second opinion to confirm the diagnosis early next week but fingers crossed I'm ok. Yearly mammograms from now on because of my family history and I'll be having the genetic testing.

Thank you so much the warmth and support on here. Complicated situation but apart from my amazing DH and some incredible friends who have become family, I'm LC with family. Very few people knew what's been going on the last few weeks so since getting home yesterday evening I've just been so unbelievably exhausted. Maybe it's all catching up on me.
