To Ask for a Handhold?

Posting here for traffic really. I'm sitting in a hospital waiting room having just coming put of my second mammogram in 10 days. I was called back for extra images because they found some calcifications in one breast. I'll be called in for an ultrasound shortly. Bloody terrified. My dsis has just come thru breast cancer. Wonder am I next.

We'll be here whenever you need lass. Know we're rooting for you.

Here I am back in a waiting room again. This time it's to see the consultant surgeon for my biopsy results.

Anyone about??

I am on my own. I insisted DH stayed with the kids. We live 3 hours away from this hospital (not in the UK) so I overnighted in a hotel last night and didn't want the kids to miss school or even be aware that there might be something wrong. They think I'm away on business. Sadly my family are not the of people we could depend on for help right now.

I'm 99% sure that I'm fine but it's the 1% that creeps in when I'm waiting for my name to be called
