I'm not advocating that older voters be discriminated against- to the pp who suggested that- but I do take issue with people just finding their own "alternative facts" and ignoring case after case of evidence. We've seen the same with warnings about the impact of Brexit on the economy coming from pretty much every respected financier and businessperson, and every Bank of England chair except one, excepting of course for Dyson and the bloke who owns Wetherspoons (hence why they're such frequent contributors on BBCQT).

The lady of Radio 4 did it earlier- hearing she had got the facts incredibly WRONG about the % of our trade with EU before saying "oh well, I'm not changing my mind".

By all means support Brexit if that's your view. You have every right, as have I to think this is a complete disaster for me and my children. If you don't care about the economy, or believe that younger people don't have any rights to consideration over the older generation then own it. Do your children and grandchildren the courtesy of openly rejecting facts rather than basing your views on hot air.

As pointed out, the YouGov exit poll was barely outside of the margin of error.

For the votes-by-age data to be wrong we'd be looking at massive polling errors, repeated across multiple polls and studies, of a magnitude that I doubt has ever been seen before.

But you're not saying anything useful. You're asserting, without evidence, that perhaps the profound demographic splits which have been unanimously shown in various studies and polls, may be down to what would likely be (by some distance) the largest systemic polling error in recent history.
