To think that my DD is broken?

I noticed something really odd today, something I can't unsee!
My DD, 3, puts her trousers on before her socks!!

AIBU to think that this is absolutely crazy, and to question if she's even mine

DD2 is broken - puts on socks before anything else, then top, then pants, then trousers. She might get distracted/hungry after the first two and this morning I noticed she was eating breakfast pant-less but with school top and socks on.

Socks after trousers always for me, even with skinnies socks are fine after trousers surely - how long are these socks FFS?

Is there a correct order to take stuff off in? Socks first surely?!

It is easier to pull trousers/leggings up if socks are on first. If left till last the clothes get stuck. But, who does sensuble things especially a 3 year old.

socks last for me. My kids practically refuse to wear socks so only put them on at the very last second before we go out, this also means I find old worn socks stuffed down the sofa every evening

Maybe it depends on if you're wearing trainer v ankle socks? I only wear trainer as I find hate anything round the ankles but I guess if you were wearing ankle socks they'd go under your trousers and then you might put them on first?

Socks sit under trousers so it’s logical to put them on first.

Also socks don’t sit right if you put them on last. Maybe it worked fine back in the days of flares / wide leg / bootcut trousers but with the slim cuts and skinny legged trousers of today socks need to go on first or they do that weird bunch up and fold over on themselves thing at the top. Nobody likes to have that strange line indentation on their leg due to bunched up socks.

Socks first so they sit nicely under trousers. It's too messy the other way. Especially with skinny jeans. Weirdos.

If I left my three year old to dress himself I very much doubt he would think of putting socks on at all.

I’m always socks last but my mum is socks first as being rounder makes it harder once the trousers are on

Skinny jeans, socks go on first as I can't be bothered trying to wrestle them up under them but otherwise socks on last 😂

All depends what I'm wearing. If leggings/really skinny jeans and socks then yes, I put socks on first everything else socks last.

I'm in the socks last camp. Those that say they would have to pull their trouser legs up to put on socks, do you wear long socks? With ankle or trainer socks no trouser leg pulling up is needed and I don't think I have owned a pair of long socks (apart from walking socks that fold down) since I was about 10. I can see the point of socks first if they are long.
