I know it’s been done before but not for a while, and I love reading everyone’s little pleasures.
Today mine was hanging lots of brightly coloured towels on the line. Loved just looking at them gently blowing in the breeze. Loved the smell when I brushed past them too. Smile

Cycled to work and back in the beautiful sunshine. So today was really a nice long bike ride broken up by a few hours work in the middle. Grin

Walked home from work through a park in glorious sunday

BlueJava · 14/05/2019 19:06

I had to wait somewhere with my boss today so we ran through all the little things we haven't got done and knocked lots of outstanding stuff on the head - that feels good it's done.

Tonight I went out to a shop (in a hotel away for work at the moment) and bought a small tiramusu cake. I went back to my hotel room by myself and ate it!! With fingers!!

SushiForBreakfast · 14/05/2019 19:07

Had a lovely sandwich lunch with my dad and then made up fun party bags with my daughter after school.

Apocalyptichorsewoman · 14/05/2019 19:10

Rode my horse in the countryside, and ate an ice-cream. Not at the same time though... 🍦🐴

Constance1234 · 14/05/2019 19:12

Building train tracks with my son for the first time. It was super fun! :)

PlatypusPie · 14/05/2019 19:15

Went to buy some plants from the garden centre and nipped into the pet supplies department and watched the guinea pigs. A happy audience of toddlers - and me !

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 14/05/2019 19:16

Not so much what I done, but I became very good friends who a mum on MN. We’ve never met, yet text several times a day, and we know the ins and outs of each other’s lives- weird as that sounds! And she send me a lovely picture of her bump dc2 today and she’s looking amazing!! Every time she sends me a picture of bump and dc1 it makes me smile. 👋🏻If you are reading! Lol

Put a new toilet seat on.
Without swearing.

This is a marvellous achievement

blueshoes · 14/05/2019 19:17

Hugged my pre-teen son after we had an argument and cooled down.

Malteserdiet · 14/05/2019 19:17

Took 5 boxes of toys to the local women’s refuge and came home to a much tidier and easier to keep tidy kid’s bedroom - woohoooo

Newbie1981 · 14/05/2019 19:18

Took my 10 month old for lunch in the sun. Bliss

Thetruthwillout80 · 14/05/2019 19:20

Started a new book by my fav author.

ThatCurlyGirl · 14/05/2019 19:21

@EightWellies Ah I don't know why but that made me tear up because I could picture it so much! Cute! Do they do sand G&Ts? Double for me please 😉

I had a nap today. A proper, accidental, sitting down, glorious nap. And no seizures for the first time in weeks. Fuck me naps are the best, why do so many kids resist them?! Little nutters.

Heymummee · 14/05/2019 19:23

Dried a massive load of laundry on the line and it smelt amazing when I was folding it.

Made myself a ham and cheese toastie and it was perfect- nice and crunchy, just the right ratio of cheese to ham.

I bought a can of Diet Coke this morning and put it in the fridge, then drank it this afternoon when it was boiling outside and it was so cold. My chickenpox covered toddler was asleep so I sat in silence whilst I drank it, it was glorious.

Shortly I plan to have a shower, full body moisturise and put my line dried pyjamas on before I get into bed ridiculously early to watch Netflix.

I’m easily pleased!

GymKitJen · 14/05/2019 19:27

Walked 6 miles

AutumnCrow · 14/05/2019 19:27

I went to the dentist without being anxious.

IndieTara · 14/05/2019 19:28

Hung my washing out on the line in the sun

JingsMahBucket · 14/05/2019 19:40

Listened to an audiobook while getting ready this morning. It’s so engaging for me and I just get immediately drawn in.

I love this attitude. Thanks for turning around the perspective.

Sitting in my garden watching the sun go down and listening to the birds in the trees

ScouseQueen · 14/05/2019 20:23

Had a lovely coffee and catch up with a friend earlier - really lifted my mood.

wanderings · 15/05/2019 11:48

Last night I had a break from reading MN, and relaxed in a chair in my jammies, slippers and eye mask. I couldn't see anything, which was essential as my DH was wrapping a birthday present for me in the same room. Smile

Tinytomato2 · 15/05/2019 11:50

Wednesday is my day off! Went for a swim at my local leisure centre then sat in their cafe with a coffee and sandwich reading my fave magazine.

SteelRiver · 15/05/2019 11:52

Eaten a lovely bunch of grapes; my favourite fruit.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 15/05/2019 18:06
