As long as she moves the dog if a human needs to sit, I am not bothered.
Nothing dirty on a dog that you wouldnt get on a human.
I take a blanket in case I need to put my dog on teh seat, the reasons why I have needed to put my dog on a seat are..
My dog is not keen on having his paws stepped on.
He doesn't like being kicked in the face.
He is very unhappy about people discovering him under a table and then leaping up and screaming like total twats 'OMG A DOG'..
He really doesn't appreciate having heavy bags dropped on him or slammed into his face.
I initially tried the 'smile and say 'of course but I have a dog under the table' when people ask if they can sit at my table/next to me.
After this failed, repeatedly and people did all of the above, whilst blanking me entirely, I sat him on the seat so folk could SEE there was a DOG, which stopped him getting battered, and stopped their total shock as they booted him under the table having ignored my actual words coming from my face, warning them about the dog.
The final straw was some lady standing on his tail, he yelped SHE DID NOT MOVE HER FOOT. I said 'excuse me you are standing on his tail' she looked down and CARRIED ON STANDING ON HIS TAIL.
I pushed her off him.
My dog sits on the seat or my lap when the train/bus is loading/unloading.
