Frasier Was Better Than Friends

Niles with baby the bird stuck on his head. Niles setting fire to Frasier's apartment. Niles scoring from the halfway line. Kelsey Grammer's wonderful overacting. The lovely autumnal colours. The clever dialogue. The list goes on

Niles and Daphne were better than Ross and Rachel.

Aibu? No I'm not 😀

Love Frasier, absolute genius.
Also loved Cheers,such brilliant scripts and sublime acting, what a cast!

I absolutely loved Lilith.

The Lilith actress is called Bebe, I always thought Frasier's agent was called Phoebe!

Continuity yes I watched Malcolm in the Middle which (IMO) was better than Friends. Made DH watch some re-runs and he has to agree! Love the episode where Reece goes on the slo-mo run from the police in a driving instructors car 😂

no Frasier's Agent is definitely called Bebe, just like the actress! ;)

I just remembered another fab episode...the one where Frasier has a jewish girlfriend who visits with her mother as they have a flight delay....Martin has to pretend to be Jewish and Frasier has to do all he can to stop them eating his christmas ham, as he told them he was cooking brisket.
and the girlfriend and the mother have a row!

I always laughed at Friends and loved Rachel's style but I could take or leave it and would never have wanted any of them as friends!

I have watched every single episode of Frasier though - I loved all the characters, their dialogue was hilarious and his apartment was done in such good taste that it still looks amazing today.

Even though I'm around the same age as the friends characters, I could see much more of myself in Frasier than in Rachel, Monica or Phoebe!

Frasier definitely better than Friends, though I love Friends too. Frasier actually makes laugh A LOT, as in proper belly laughs!

Pp has posted my fave quote 'How can men use sex to get what they want? Sex IS what we want!!'

So many great moments, lots of funny ones, but also poignant ones - one really touching one when Niles and Daphne first sleep together and Niles says to Frasier with a dreamy in love face 'And you know what, it wasn't a bit like I thought it would be'.

Brilliant cast, even warmed to Daphnes mum in the end. But her brother!!! God, terrible.

Friends was crap, Frasier is a classic, alwaysmakes me laugh, especially Niles.

Miles, bursting into Frasier's apartment and picking up a pen, "Sorry, I forgot my Mont Blanc!"

Also Niles's snobbery about small cars (well, about everything) and calling hatchbacks hunchbacks.

One of my favourite moments was when niles and frasier try to open a restaurant and whilst it was all going wrong daphne walks into the kitchen and wacks an eel on the counter because niles was too scared to kill it! 😁
