For things that are agreed as gospel on MN

I'll start: I like dressing my kids in matching outfits and I really enjoy a Butlins holiday

I also don't think Nevaeh is that bad

Hot tubs are great.

FuckingDelightful · 22/04/2019 19:28

Letting a step child who stays eow keep a huge bedroom whilst the younger resident child sleeps in the boxroom is fucking bizarre.

It's not a crime to invite people to the evening part of a wedding only. Oh and you don't need to provide a free bar either.

x2boys · 22/04/2019 19:28

I think it's fine not too cook from scratch, packets and made make life a,little easier, I like bleach based cleaning g products .

francienolan · 22/04/2019 19:30

I think having a full English breakfast is really gross if you do it often, it's too much food. I struggle on holidays/visits to the in laws where that's the norm every morning.

I hate the local accent where I am but I am an immigrant so have a little trouble understanding it. (English is my first language but when words sound so different it can be tough!)

ICantEvenThinkStraight · 22/04/2019 19:31

Game of Thrones is not all that (though Tyrian Lannister is strangely fascinating).

Coolcoolcoolcoolcool · 22/04/2019 19:31

I don't even know what 'haitch' is, is it H? How is that wrong? How else would you say it?

It seems fine to me and I live nowhere near the Thames estuary.

MulderitsmeX · 22/04/2019 19:31

Big child free weddings are the best.
Taking "the high road" is not more satisfying.
louis vuitton bags are beautiful
If you have dire SPAG i will judge you

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 22/04/2019 19:32

I don't agree with gaming the system for a school place, especially not where religion is involved. Tbh I find a lot of the goings-on around school places unseemly. My child first and stuff the rest.

AlwaysFuckingTired94 · 22/04/2019 19:32

Boden is shit

'haitch' isn't an estuary thing - those were two separate unpopular opinions Grin

'Standard' (RP) English is to say 'aitch'

formerbabe · 22/04/2019 19:33

I iron my partner's shirts and do all the cooking

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 22/04/2019 19:33

There should have been quotes around 'My child first...'

Daffopill · 22/04/2019 19:34

I much prefer giving cash as a wedding present.
Evening invites are fine (only really work for local friends though)
I find friends and family falling out over Brexit ridiculous.

BigFatLiar · 22/04/2019 19:34

Peoples children are their responsibility. I shouldn't need to make allowances for their lifestyle.

AlwaysFuckingTired94 · 22/04/2019 19:34

It's ok to read your child's private text messages

Most tattoos look horrible and no one over 60 looks good with tattoos. So unpopular and I'm sorry I don't want to offend just my opinion!

MrsBungle · 22/04/2019 19:35

Child free weddings are the best kind! I prefer adult parties.

I wash my hair every day and it’s in perfectly good condition.

I got my babies in to routines around 6weeks. I also potty trained them at 2 and persevered rather than giving up after a day - both done within a week.

BuzzPeakWankBobbly · 22/04/2019 19:36

Wanting someone to wish you Happy Birthday and get you nice gifts and make a bit of a fuss on your big day is perfectly normal behaviour.

AlwaysFuckingTired94 · 22/04/2019 19:37

Social services aren't always in the right

OP posts:
underneaththeash · 22/04/2019 19:37

I also think tattoos are revolting on anyone and I think getting one shows really poor judgement.

I also like child-free weddings and child-free evening meals where I cook something separate for the children.

nrpmum · 22/04/2019 19:38

I want to leave the EU for my own thought out reasons.

Sometimes work is a valid reason to relocate.

Everybody is different, and has different experiences.

Life is not black and white, there are a lot of grey areas.

Someone having a differing opinion is fine. It is ok to debate those opinions, and also possible to do so without calling the other person stupid insert suitable expletive

fikel · 22/04/2019 19:38

Being over weight shouldn’t be normalised

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 22/04/2019 19:38

Yy to tattoos. They're just awful.

LooUpdate · 22/04/2019 19:38

You should prioratise your spouse over the children.

formerbabe · 22/04/2019 19:38

I hate guitar music and indie/alternative
