...I'm out of bleeps. What a fucking cheek, flying five and half thousand miles spewing pollution all over the skies to stop people getting on a bus????

Wonder if she wants a cab to take her to the airport?

Don Quixote said

"How anyone can imagine that flying 5000 miles especially to stop poor people driving 5 miles to work is anything other than ridiculous is beyond me. "
"I don't see how a bunch of posh twats making it hard for people to get to work helps."

Hahaha Quote of the thread. 😂😂😂

In general I think the super rich and powerful people are massively hypocritical about most things. They so often tend to be a part of the problem and looking for any solution as long as it has no impact on themselves....

Wonnacott35 · 21/04/2019 20:31

She brought extra press coverage to the cause. The cause that's all for bringing legislation in 'to save our planet'. I imagine there's many hypocrites on this thread, myself included, when it comes to ways we should be helping but they're not enough. We need government legislation it's as simple as that so whilst she may be a hypocrite I bet most of us typing are. What did you do today to help save the planet?

i have noticed that the actors who object to things like the poll tax make all sorts of excuses when it comes to the TV license yet both require/required members of the public to pay the same no matter what their income.

Does she know something about climate change that David Attenborough doesn't? Does she have more influence with the government than he does? If the answer to either of those questions is 'no', why not leave the press coverage for him and his new documentary?

Just heard that their goal is zero carbon dioxide emissions within 6 years. That means an end to all transport and most economic activity.

Emma will be sitting pretty in her LA Home, driving/being driven around, flying wherever takes her fancy whilst patting herself on the back that she supports this as long as it doesn't affect her way of life of course.

And presumably an end to that pesky activity known as breathing... Hmm

So make the lives of people who are in a position to make changes difficult

Not the average person going about their daily life or trying to get away on holiday

I'd rather have Emma Thomspon than John Humpheys. Apalling on the Today programme this morning.
