Yes Thestral I did see that and agree it is a toe-stubber hazard, for me probably a whole body collision hazard. You would really have to plan your route within a room let alone room to room, not good if you've had one too many!

Bizarrely though they've got the same oven as us and the last time I posted on a Mumsnet random right move thread it was for the same reason my house is perfectly normal but the oven seems to be popular with those with weird tastes
