I feel there is a lot of agenda here and whilst I can play along with the mods, sometimes I wonder what that agenda is?

HardAsSnails · 14/04/2019 20:14

Maybe Mumsnet just isn't for you OP. Have you tried Netmums?

OopsOhNoZHM · 14/04/2019 20:14

And why would we want to say anything negative about being black? Or Irish? Or auti?

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2019 20:14

You can discuss most of the stuff on that long list as long as you post like a normal person.

Lockerdown · 14/04/2019 20:15

Add teenage pregnancy to that list. Any thread I've ever seen concerning it is deleted within minutes!

MoistMolly · 14/04/2019 20:16

A thread about moderation. I can see this lasting long.

NoSauce · 14/04/2019 20:16

I think so too.

StoneofDestiny · 14/04/2019 20:16

I've seen threads on all the things/topics on your list.

shesgrownhorns · 14/04/2019 20:19

I haven't got a clue what any of this means. What can't we discuss?

AndIWon · 14/04/2019 20:20

Ok, I'll tell you what you're allowed to say:

Autism - the causes - GENETICS
Meghan Markle - IF YOU SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HER, YOU'RE RACIST
The McCanns - THEY WERE KILLERS
Social Housing - ROBBERS
Benefits - LAZY
Northern Ireland - WE ALL LOVE IT
The DUP - NOT ALLOWED TO MENTION
The IRA - BASTARDS
The RUC - ANGELS
Homelessness - THEIR OWN FAULT
Being Irish - WE FEEL SORRY FOR YOU
Women driving their husbands away due to obsessive behaviour - HE'S A CUNT
Alcoholism - OWN FAULT
Suicide ideation - WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT HERE
Suicide - AS ABOVE
Depression - GO TO YOUR GP OR YOU'RE LAZY
Being a Leave voter - RACIST
Neighbours with a screaming child - INTOLERANT BITCH
Neighbours shouting - CALL POLICE OR INTOLERANT BITCH
Acronym overuse - ARE YOU THICK?
The NHS - OUR LOVELY NHS? WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU DIED IN THE PROCESS AND ARE NOW POSTING AS A GHOST
Mumsnet - DO NOT DARE CRITICISE US
Anyone black - I ACTUALLY DARE NOT SAY ANYTHING ON THIS
Dogs killing children - IT'S NOT THE DOG WHO KILLED THE CHILD, IT'S THE OWNER THICKO
Having a confident teenager - OBVIOUSLY A BULLY

AndIWon · 14/04/2019 20:21

If you dare to say anything contrary to the above norms...................

OP posts:
exWifebeginsat40 · 14/04/2019 20:21

hey OP, i can help.

i’m an alcoholic, disabled (not by booze, i’m sober) and on benefits.

i have depression, my neighbours shout at each other, and i think that a notorious case of child kidnap had an entirely different outcome than that which we are led to believe.

i’ve been homeless, suicidal and spent time on a psychiatric ward, twice. i’ve been married and divorced, twice.

i quite like Meghan Markle, the DUP have the government utterly snookered, and i have raised a confident teenager.

however, i voted Remain, so i am a statistical outlier.

i can see your issue. how on earth are you supposed to get to grips with all this?

sad times.

ElloBrian · 14/04/2019 20:22

It’s easily possible to construct a pretty hilarious dark comedy from the specificity of your complaints, OP, but in all seriousness I would suggest that perhaps you should seek some help for your mental health.

NoBaggyPants · 14/04/2019 20:23

You're an anti vaxxer aren't you?

April241 · 14/04/2019 20:24

Uhm. I don't think you're allowed to say The McCanns were killers.

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2019 20:24

Sounds like a little break from MN may be in order OP. Confused

HotPriest · 14/04/2019 20:24

You've got your answers already written in a note haven't your OP ready to be cut and pasted into this thread. Yawn.

Mymomsbetterthanyomom · 14/04/2019 20:25

That's quite a bit of paranoia happening with you...

Ffsnosexallowed · 14/04/2019 20:28

Nonsense.

AndIWon · 14/04/2019 20:28

@ElloBrian

Did I dare to question MN moderation? Obvs must be having a mental health crisis.

OP posts:
JanMeyer · 14/04/2019 20:29

Hmm, interesting that autism and what causes it is at the top of your list. Are you by any chance the not so delightful person who earlier this evening started a thread claiming to discuss whether or not birth trauma causes autism but ended up telling autistic people they shouldn't procreate (the exact word used)?

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2019 20:29

You could post in Site Stuff?

AndIWon · 14/04/2019 20:29

You've got your answers already written in a note haven't your OP ready to be cut and pasted into this thread. Yawn.

Care to translate that into English?

Autism - the causes - OK to talk about within guidelines
Meghan Markle - as above
The McCanns - not allowed
Social Housing - Ok to talk about within guidelines
Benefits - as above
Northern Ireland - as above
The DUP - as above
The IRA - as above
The RUC - as above
Homelessness - as above
Being Irish - as above
Women driving their husbands away due to obsessive behaviour - a/a
Alcoholism - a/a
Suicide ideation - don't know, probably not allowed
Suicide - Ok to talk about within guidelines
Depression - a/a
Being a Leave voter - a/a
Neighbours with a screaming child - a/a
Neighbours shouting - a/a
Acronym overuse - perfectly fine
The NHS - perfectly fine
Mumsnet - a/a
Anyone black - Ok to talk about within guidelines
Dogs killing children - a/a
Having a confident teenager - perfectly fine

So out of your whole list there's only one that I can say is off limits. Perhaps you are having trouble staying within guidelines OP?

shesgrownhorns · 14/04/2019 20:30

So are we allowed to say the McCanns are killers, or not? I'm genuinely confused.

SittinOnThaToilet · 14/04/2019 20:30

U OK hun?
