To think that the Brexit Party is the most exciting thing to happen in British politics in years

1000 candidates have applied for 73 seats, nearly a million pounds raised with small donations, buzz and brexitement on the ether and the sense that the 2 party system may be over for good....at last some good news for Brexiteers.

Viva la Revolucion!

This link will not ask for your money
but it will reassure you about humanity
thebrexitparty.com/
and I am sure that Nigel Farage is delighted that we are associating his name with it

after all, he said today that his party are Lions Led by Donkeys
apparently without irony

Ncouttaembarrassment · 12/04/2019 21:43

It’s great. It’ll split them bigots.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 12/04/2019 21:43

Vile man. I’d be more excited about a yeast infection.

Krimpy · 12/04/2019 21:44

So exciting, OP. Not quite as exciting as the time I found a solid chocolate kit-kat, and not as exciting as the time I lost my tampon applicator inside me, and not as exciting as the time I saw Su Pollard crossing the street, but SO exciting, OP.

BrexitBingoGenerator · 12/04/2019 21:46

‘Brexitement’

‘Leavism’

???????????????????

What new wanky terminology is this?!

Am losing the will when it comes to Brexit.

Jebuschristchocolatebar · 12/04/2019 21:47

Ha ha their website is amazing!!

Dothehappydance · 12/04/2019 21:48

Krimpy The solid kitkat is exciting, never had one of them - I did have a solid Breakaway, that was exciting as well, and, I had a yellow Breakaway bag, with a little pocket on the front to fit your Breakaway in.

PortiaCastis · 12/04/2019 21:49

What bloody revolution

PencilsInSpace · 12/04/2019 21:51

Solid kitkat

Yeast infection

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 12/04/2019 21:51

Yes you are being unreasonable

Its not exciting at all...in the slightest

I would like something different in politics, that would be exciting!

But farage starting up another one trick pony party isnt it

Im guessing their manifesto is pretty much 'leave the EU'

ginghambox · 12/04/2019 21:52

PencilsInSpace are you 5, fucking grow up.

WhiteDust · 12/04/2019 21:52

Viva la Revolucion!

Bloody brilliant OP!! 😂 This made me laugh out loud!

iVampire · 12/04/2019 21:54

‘I can see The Brexit Party ending up with 17.4m votes....
Never in a million years.‘

Only 3 mil more than UKIP got in last EU elections. Yes, quite possibly achievable.

People can vote for the new party without the UKIP baggage, and both this and UKIP votes will clearly be seen a ‘leave’ Tory and Labour are. It’s stull divided, so cannot going clearly either way. Will people really vote for the smaller parties in enough numbers to come anywhere close?

BlueSkiesLies · 12/04/2019 21:55

“Leave the EU with no idea how to actually do so, just leave, boooo yah”

So exciting. Almost as exciting as my NHS £350m

WhiteDust · 12/04/2019 21:57

littlebelina
Fabulous! SO many Brexitparty websites to choose from!

nutsfornutella · 12/04/2019 21:58

Www.thebrexitparty.com I'll just leave that here.

Windowsareforcheaters · 12/04/2019 21:58

PencilsInSpace it made me laugh.

Does that mean I'm not grown up either?

CherryPavlova · 12/04/2019 21:59

Ghastly dishonourable man peddling far right ideology wrapped up in more acceptable language that appeals to those who will suffer most under Brexit. Farage is the biggest self publicist in living memory. He cares only for his own wealth.

CatsinSpace · 12/04/2019 22:00

I will certainly vote for them.
I would urge all leavers to get out there and vote in the EU elections.

Katterinaballerina · 12/04/2019 22:00

‘1000 candidates have applied for 73 seats’

And once they’ve had their social media accounts checked they’ll struggle to fill them.

JacquesHammer · 12/04/2019 22:01

I will certainly vote for them

So you don’t even know who your candidate will be, or what their policies will be but you know already you’ll vote for them....?

Isitsixoclockalready · 12/04/2019 22:02

I’m all for seeing a shake up in our political system even if a brexit party is not to my personal taste; however apart possibly from a decent showing in the European elections, they will do sweet FA under our FPTP system. Personally I would be happy to take the chance of seeing brexit party MPs in parliament for the sake of seeing proportional representation but it’s unlikely to happen.

Biscuit
PortiaCastis · 12/04/2019 22:03

Wonder how many will bother to vote if we have an EU election or will folk just say it's bloody pointless, it'll be interesting to see how the turnout compares to the 35% that bothered to vote last time.
