Not to remove my bra at night

PotterHead1985 · 28/03/2019 23:23

Posting here as I know I'll get the traffic.

So Lorraine Kelly is in the news as not removing her bra at bedtime. She's getting some schtick for it. What do you all think?

Should you remove your bra at night? Do you. If you do why? If you don't why?

I don't. I am a 'larger' boosomed lady and to be honest I find it uncomfortable having my baps flapping about in bed!!! Grin. Last time I slept without one was when I cremates my shoulders on holiday in Florida and the pain of putting one on was too much. Confused

So. Thoughts?!!!?

32DD and I hate wearing a bra. I have fibrocystic breasts and have been told it's better not to wear them and also to do breast massages for the lymphatic system.

I take mine off as soon as I possibly can, also quite large of boob, but if it's comfier to have it on, fair enough.

@BreastSideStory oh my they look amazing. I shall invest I think. Thankies 🙌
Also if I am not making sense it is because I have had a few more than 3 glasses of wine 🍷!! In my defence though I have been out sick from work two months now 😩

I can't wear proper bras as they cause pain, but I wear crop top bras 24/7. Only removing to shower. I am only a B cup but I can't stand the loose saggy tit feel. Ugh!

Mine comes off as soon as I am home for the rest of the day. I can’t even begin to imagine wearing one in bed.

Yes to nighttime bras, just a soft sloggi crop top thing.

Never used to but with breastfeeding (and leaks) started to and now prefer it.

I used to have massive boobs, 34 JJ pre reduction, and even then I never wore one in bed.

It just annoys me, but then I have always (apart from the first year or so after the op) worn underwired and they are not exactly comfy to sleep in!

I have 40GG norks (sorry favourite term in our house) and I hate wearing a bra in the evenings. The sheer bliss of taking it off is amazing. I hated sleeping in bras when I was breastfeeding my DCs.

Small chested and 24/7 here think it’s the nips against fabric thing . I don’t find it uncomfortable at all but I would if they were wafting in the breeze

I'm a GG cup & I sleep in crop tops or in pj tops that have a built in crop top, otherwise I end up with my boobs choking me.

I am extremely well endowed. I have special soft bras for sleeping. My
Back hurts if I skip them.

I don't think it's good for anyone sleeping in regular bras?! Especially underwired!

I love the feeling of taking off bra and tighter clothes for indoor evening wear! heaven!

I should add, I'm a 14F (36F UK). I just get used to sleeping without a lot of support.
Those asking where you get "sleep bras", have a look in the maternity section, the sleep bras are usually not cup sized and very stretchy to allow for bigger cup sizes, so you just find the size that fits you best.
I fit a medium or a size 14 in most nursing bras.

@BreastSideStory my boobies thank you. SmileThey will likely be the only part of me that will get any sleep tonight unfortunately. Sad

Sainsbury s or Primark sell nice crop top bra styles which are very comfy to wear overnight.

I had to wear a bra in bed for 8 weeks last year after mastectomy surgery - awful having to wear it in bed! Urgh!

My SIL wears hers at night. I was dumbfounded when her kids told me, as I'd never heard of it. Mine comes off when I change as soon as I'm home from work.

I've huge J boobs. Never wear anything to sleep. They sleep on the other side of the bed to me. 😂. It would be my dream to never wear a bra ever again but it's really not a good look.

I wear a bra in bed. Always have and I feel weird without it and my boobs aren’t large at all.
My tits, my choice Grin

I'd never sleep in one as a bra is far and away the most uncomfortable thing to wear.

I wear one all the time. I wear stretchy soft bralette types though.

I can't bear the feeling of not wearing a bra, it's really uncomfortable, I am only ever without a bra in the shower.

I wear a soft bra in bed though.
