One million signatures!

Everyone knows that the petition is not legally anything, but I think people want a way to express that when TM is telling us that she’s doing what ‘the people’ want, it’s just not true in the here and now. There is no other way for people to try to express this.

In my family alone, three people that voted to leave are no longer with us, and several who have their own thoughts and opinions are now of age to vote, where they weren’t in 2016

I think anything that is so close - eg close to 50/50 is worthy of retesting again,. I thought so of the Scottish independence vote also - you need a good solid majority, however you retain the status quo until you have that majority

It’s ridiculous to suggest the powers that be should only take note if the petition hits 17.4m. A strong message has surely been sent after over 1m people sign in under 24 hours? A message that they need not to discount the views of the “minority”

You had your answer three years ago when Farage said that if the vote had gone the other way it would have been unfinished business. So it would be up to you and other Leavers to keep pressing for it, as the right wing of the Tory Party have been doing at least since John Major's time.

The link currently says the page is down for maintenance. How interesting that they should decide to do maintenance on the day this particular poll is up and the numbers have been growing so rapidly.

Check in your spam or junk folder with a lot of people the email has gone in there. It did with me. I signed this morning when it was at 400 000. Its crazy!

Not in Spam, but have just seen email can take up to 12 hours to arrive.
