I am angry at just about every level right now - here are just a few of them:
Angry because I can't be proud of my country right now because the governing class is ensuring we are an embarrassment in front of the whole world;
Angry because the same governing class have visited this upon us. They had one overriding responsibility to uphold the security and tranquillity, and safeguard the future of the country and its people, and they have comprehensively FAILED at this;
Angry because the divisions between people are up there for all of us to see and that same governing class created many of those divisions in the first place (eg austerity);
Angry because a lot of them will be enriching themselves out of this. A few of them should imo be facing treason charges - but of course that won't happen;
Angry because it is the younger generation's future being screwed up the most, and they didn't get a say in it. (I was scared for my disabled DS's future before all this, I am verging on terrified now);
Angry because Leavers can't give us a single benefit of Brexit although they have had 3 years to do so. That's because there aren't any. You call this 'taking back control'?
And angry because many of those self same Leavers make it clear that they don't give a shit about the consequences others are being faced with by Brexit. The blithe indifference evident from some of them to the risks for Northern Ireland - that the GFA (you know, that other international agreement we signed up to) can be discarded as an inconvenience and any serious and potentially deadly outcomes to that - given the recent history - is just unforgivable.
