To be shocked BREXIT is going to affect cancer treatment?

cantbearsed1 · 06/03/2019 07:49

Just listening to the BBC radio news and they were interviewing an oncologist who said that because of worries about getting hold of enough isotopes straight after BREXIT, Drs have been advised by the Government to book less people into their clinics for both diagnosis and treatment.
This will mean longer waits for diagnosis and treatment from some patients. I was taken aback that such a serious medical issue is being affected.

Rage? What rage? Sorry you have lost me, please do enlighten me on what I am supposed to be angry about.

Lweji · 06/03/2019 17:00

Also, a 12 point margin is quite clear.

But don't let facts get in the way of your arrogance.

BorisBogtrotter · 06/03/2019 17:00

"said Brexit was going to lose."

Actually that's not true lots of polls said leave would win, almost all said it would be close, a few in the final week, when the leave vote was associated with Jo Cox murder said that remain would win.

Repeating this is another way that you get to dismiss any information you don't like.

MamaLovesMango · 06/03/2019 17:01

Perhaps I have missed something

Missed something you say? Surely not.

This is all too cringe for you to actually be serious. I’m calling hairy, hairy hands.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 06/03/2019 17:02

You're barely keeping a lid on your rage

Yeah, very agitated

Lweji · 06/03/2019 17:03

What is the barley export map supposed to show?

a) many trade agreements with those countries are via the EU.

b) it doesn't show volume exported

c) the cost post Brexit compared with other countries (including Ireland) could reduce those markets considerably.

mcnaughtyf · 06/03/2019 17:04

Lweji - lets look at the facts again.

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/24/eu-referendum-how-right-or-wrong-were-the-polls/

Lweji · 06/03/2019 17:07

"And on the eve of the vote, the poll tracker was predicting a Remain victory by the narrowest of margins - 51 per cent to 49."
And one poll. Other polls were showing all kinds of results.

Again... 12 point margins usually aren't wrong.

FishesaPlenty · 06/03/2019 17:07

Err malt barley exports - so we need the EU do we?

That's exports of malted barley, rather than malting barley. One's a manufactured ingredient, the other's an agricultural commodity used to make that ingredient. HTH.

So looking at presentation of the facts, we are right and you are wrong, it was very close at the start of campaigning in May with some polls even predicting a leave win at this point, then remain started to lead the polls from mid May, but steadily lost ground towards the end, between the start of June and the 23rd the polls showed very small differences between the two, with leave coming out on top of some polls, right up until the murder of Jo Cox.

So yeah, your point: " Is that the same poll or multiple polls nay every poll that said Brexit was going to lose" isn't accurate. The polls said both things, and all the polls currently say Remain would win a second referendum.

Facts eh, you should learn how to use them.

Lweji · 06/03/2019 17:09

So lets just wait and see if any of the crap you lot have spouted all day actually comes to fruition or, its all a pack of lies and truth twisting

Again...Oh, the irony.

PestyMachtubernahme · 06/03/2019 17:10

Thanks for the link mcnaughtyf turns out the Maltsters' Association of Great Britain does think they need the EU.

We won.... you lost! Ha ha!

Cringing for you and your lonely brain cell.

Lweji · 06/03/2019 17:13

Everyone lost. Sad

JacquesHammer · 06/03/2019 17:14

*We won.... you lost! Ha ha!

So lets just wait and see if any of the crap you lot have spouted all day actually comes to fruition or, its all a pack of lies and truth twisting (I think this is the correct assumption).

Sorry you all feel so bitter and twisted but I suppose there were always going to be losers in this battle. LOSERS*

And people wonder why there’s a Leavers = stupid stereotype.

LaurieMarlow · 06/03/2019 17:14

Everyone lost

Too fucking true.

You could argue that JRM won. Maybe.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 06/03/2019 17:15

Yep agitated...

Or aerated, maybe aerated

FinallyHere · 06/03/2019 17:15

You can’t get away from it, EU states employees or EU employees are the only possible people who would cause this

How did we get from take back control of our borders to only the EU would enforce any border checks ?

Are we really not going to check vehicles for people trying to enter the country without proper papers ? Or substandard goods ? Toys that harm babies ? Chicken that has been soaked in bleach because of the conditions the chickens were kept in mean they have excrement bonded onto their feathers ?

Is that what taking back control means ?

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 06/03/2019 17:15

The only winners out of this will be JRM and his slimy cohorts.

PestyMachtubernahme · 06/03/2019 17:16

Everyone lost

so true

Except for the strange poster who appears to be paid 9-5 to troll MN

Peregrina · 06/03/2019 17:17

Well, let's hope that mcnaughtyf or her family don't get cancer, and find that there is a much longer wait for treatment than is desirable. Perhaps repeating the mantra 'we are out of the EU, we are out of the EU' will help cure it. Somehow, I don't think that does cure cancer.

BorisBogtrotter · 06/03/2019 17:18

Ohhh do you think it could be one of the ones who was paid to prior to the referendum.

Spriningintoaction vanished so quickly.

ivykaty44 · 06/03/2019 17:19

What did the leavers win?

There are already thousands of job losses through car manufacturing. This isn’t a win to lose jobs

NHS has many thousands of vacancies that can’t be filled, and Germany are poaching more NHS staff away, how can this be a win

Whether you voted leave or stay it’s saddening to see the country suffering

FiddleFaddleDingDong · 06/03/2019 17:20

Could be. I wonder if they are that thick or just pretending to be that thick.
