Have been with DH for about 15 years, married for about 10 years. 2 DC.

He keeps going through phases of growing a beard.

I HATE it. Can't climax in the bedroom because of the big itchy annoying beard rubbing all over me.

He won't shave it because I 'shouldn't be shallow' and he loves it.

Now, if he was ill and had something change appearance wise for reasons beyond his control it would be different.

But I fucking hate his ugly itchy arse beard, and it makes me so mad I'm just refusing to have Sex at all now. He is actually keeping it though. It's now gone on so long I actually wonder if I will have to LTB.

It looks shit too by the way. I haven't found anyone who disagrees with me.

What's this obsession with the idea that beards scratch your face up.

I hate beards on the whole. But anything above the top lip is nasty for me and I like to feel a guy's face. This is my OH's beard. It was 1/2 as long again, nearly a year ago. But the rest gets shaved.

I tried dating a few guys with fuller beards and I just couldn't. Nope.

Soft or scratchy, neither texture is appealing to me while kissing. No kissing = no sex.

Are people really honestly convinced that the op should have sex that she not only doesn't benefit from, but is actually repulsed by?

My dh grew a beard. I refused to snog him as it was so scratchy and unpleasant.

The beard lasted a very short time - a few days at most.

I have the inverse. DP, always has a trimmed beard but shaved it all off once. I told him to grow it back immediately because I felt like I was having a lesbian affair. He did.

(Nothing against lesbian affairs, I just don't want an affair at all!)

I hadn't realised that my beard has kept me safe from marauding women for over 35 years.

Also hate beards with a passion, and you cannot compare pubes, as the vast majority of women would have had them when they met their OH. If the man decided he wants a beard after 20 years together, they can hardly be surprised or upset if their woman doesn't like it.

That beard on your other half is gross. I couldn't kiss a man with that beard, let alone let him anywhere else with it. The piercing on the left of his top lip would put me off too. Not a fan of piercings.

If not, just look around at your friends’ DP/DHs.... if they’re clean shaven, it’s a clear sign they’re porn addicts!

I don't like beards because I think they're unhygienic. Food passing all that hair is BOUND to get in there.
