Just seen a Fail article about 6'7 Richard Osman and his 5'2 girlfriend. Worthy of many pictures and comments.
I'm just under 5'0 and partner is 6'2. So not a dissimilar height difference. Am a worthy of a Fail article? (And not to mention all the vile comments that came with about her not having to go on her knees etc)

He’s 6ft 3in, I’m 5ft 11in - perfect height difference, even in heels 😊

TwirlyWitch · 23/02/2019 22:15

I’m 5ft and DH 6’5” I love it but I think I’m wider than he is Blush

scrunchSE18 · 23/02/2019 22:24

I’m 5’0” and DH is 6’8”. Do we win some kind of height difference prize? I can put it on a low shelf so only I can see it.

neversleepagain · 23/02/2019 22:27

5'6 and 6'4

whatsnewchoochoo · 23/02/2019 22:32

I'm taller than DH by about 5 inches. Doesn't make me feel less feminine at all, he's a very "manly" man.

For those wondering about children's height - apparently sons are always taller than their mothers so it would seem a woman's height has more influence than a mans

IvanaPee · 23/02/2019 22:33

I’m 5’ 4”, DH is 6’ 1”

I love it. I fit under his chin and it makes me feel all cozy and safe!

I’ve never been with someone of similar or just taller height. It’s not something I could be ok with!

Someone asked about dc - ds1 will be similar height to dh. He’s nearly taller than me already! Dd will be 5’ 7” ish, and ds2 will be a good bit over 6’ by the looks of things!

littlemisscynical · 23/02/2019 22:36

I’m 5 foot 3 and DH is 6 foot 2. No one has ever mentioned it and I don’t think we have ever discussed our height difference 🤷‍♀️

PocaMiseria · 23/02/2019 22:49

@Kpo58
@emilydickinsonsdogs
I hate how tall men always seem to go for tiny women. It really hard for us tall women to find a same height or taller man.
This. I could fancy Richard Osman......
My DH is about the same height as I am......(I am tall for a woman, he is not short, but not an exceptionally tall man)..... I have been known to borrow things from his wardrobe.

FoofFighter · 23/02/2019 22:50

DP is 5ft4/5 and I'm 5ft7 - doesn't bother me a hot. he's also 8 years younger which equally doesn't matter

IvanaPee · 23/02/2019 22:52

He’s 5’4 or you are?

notacooldad · 23/02/2019 22:58

DP and I aren't too bad just 12 inches between us but DS is 6 ft 4 and his gf is 5ft1.
There is a picture of them standing behind a ship wheel or something similar and some asked if gf was sat down ( genuinely, they hadn't met her before) that was quite amusing!

meanfattrendygirl · 23/02/2019 23:01

I’m 6’1 and DH is 6’2. Our 14yo DS is taller than both of us now.

terriblyangryattimes · 23/02/2019 23:02

5 foot 2 here, husband is 6 foot 5. A few people comment on it but it's definitely not news worthy! The biggest issue is finding clothes that fit... if I found somewhere we could buy him everything he needs in one place now that would be newsworthy 🤣

StrawberryTot · 23/02/2019 23:03

I’m 5’1” and my DP is 6’. It doesn’t bother us at all but I’m the shortest partner he’s had.

Tailfeather · 23/02/2019 23:05

Damn you shorties bagsying all of the tall men! I'm 6' and have never had a boyfriend taller than me. My husband is the same height. I used to watch Sex In The City with envy - the way Carrie fitted with Aidan.....swoon!

cinders15 · 23/02/2019 23:14

I'm 5'4" and DH is 6'5"
So we struggle to both appear in a picture
Our DD is 6'1" and has been since 17, so no surprise there
I hate it when he uses my car and I then spend ages racking up the seat and bringing it forward Envy

Lizaelna · 23/02/2019 23:28

I'm 5'4 and DP is 6'6, we definitely get some strange looks when we walk down the street. DP is apparently used to it but I'm definitely not! Being a human crane he makes reaching things a hell of a lot easier

stanski · 23/02/2019 23:41

@RomanyQueen1 that made me LOL.

RomanyQueen1 · 23/02/2019 23:53

Stanski

Both me and dh have a dark sense of humour.
When he introduces me to someone he'll say "this is Romany my wife, I know you'd expect taller, but she's good to the kids Grin
The amount of times people think we're serious.

DustyCropHopper · 23/02/2019 23:56

I am 5ft 4 and dh is 6ft 6.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 24/02/2019 00:00

I’m 5’2 ds dad is 6’2 and my ex’s have all been around 6’

I have always attracted taller men

Have been seeing someone who is 5’8 feels a bit short Grin

SerenDippitty · 24/02/2019 00:00

Damn you shorties bagsying all of the tall men!

I am 5ft 2 and have never had a boyfriend over 5ft 10. Not bothered though my 5ft 7 husband is perfect!

staydazzling · 24/02/2019 00:09

I'm 5"8 and DH is 6'4, so a noticeable but not big height difference, its a 'thing' for me though I am self conscious about being so tall, I'd always have to be the shortest, my mum is 5"3 and my Dad 6"3.

staydazzling · 24/02/2019 00:13

yes about the kids height thing! I was taller than my mum when I was 10 Shock but she's 5'3 and my eldest who is 9 is 5ft atm so hes gonna be taller, most likely to be taller than me at 18 maybe before.

rosiejaune · 24/02/2019 00:23

I'm 5'11'', my partner is 5'10". We both wear flat shoes. My exes were 5'10" and 6'.
