Zoe Ball on breakfast radio 2

I like Zoe Ball but not liking the breakfast show so far... the music’s truly dire, virtually every track sounds like a poor version of Rihanna. Awful.

Sara Cox is great except for the cringe-worthy get them to say a certain phrase thing, and the guess who I am team game.

I have now followed Chris I just can't warm to Zoe. Love Sara Cox and Lisa Tarbuck.

Couldn't stand Zoe on Saturdays, gush gush, she loves everybody, trying too hard to be cool. Had to stop watching It Takes Two on telly when she took over there too. Glad she moved to breakfast radio on the basis that I don't tune in then so would not have to listen to her. But her replacement Rylan is an embarrassment, I bet he can't believe his luck. I actually don't mind him on light entertainment telly but he is not a radio broadcaster.

I think that Radio 2 was white, male and stale but their solution was that is to flood the schedule with people outside of that demographic but who are not natural radio hosts.

(Steve Davies need to go.)

Unless the presenters are charged with creating their own playlists, Radio 2 has its own 'compulsory' playlists.

The music isn't the fault of a lot of the presenters.

Can't stand her. She is the equivalent of someone scrapping their nails across a blackboard.

As a result my phone sales me up and I listen to podcasts or audio books instead.

Love Sara Cox though.

Zoe ball plays crap music and doesnt have much to say. Also, trying too hard to be like Chris with the "show and tell" and the drum roll that goes with it. Also, as someone already said, she doesn't have a team and it makes the show sound really lonely.

I don't like sara Cox either though. The segment where a friend calls in and has to trick the other friend to say a phrase...It's frankly a load of shit and not funny! Her music playlists are similar to Zoe. There's more 80s female stuff as well as some 90s dance pish

Another one who loved Chris et always, has tried to like Zoe and has followed Chris to Virgin.

Elaine Paige's laugh is awful for radio.

They should get MB and EP, arm them each with a nail studded club and a gimp mask and get them to do a death match.

WTF I also pronounce ‘shedload’ as one word in that context. As does everyone I know. The guy is a midlander I think - his pronunciation of Wolverhampton is a local one, mainly attributable to accent.

So can you listen to Chris in the car? My neighbour told me you couldn't.

You need to give Greg James on radio 1 a go. He is very good, and very likeable.

You can listen to Chris anywhere but whenever you do, orphans cry. So the choice is yours.
