you'd like to or plan to see one day?

My ones are Freddie Mercury at Live Aid, or George Michael at the Freddy Mercury memorial concert.

People I'd love to see live are Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Stone Roses, Prodigy.and Sia.

Queen for me too xxx

ItsAllGone19 · 14/02/2019 13:59

Queen with Freddie for me. I was too young to have seen him in concert but was raised on their music.

barryfromclareisfit · 14/02/2019 14:06

I saw Queen, three times, I think. Bowie twice. Prince once.

The best live band, now, are Idlewild. On tour in April, see them if you can.

And The Gloaming. Seen them five or six times.

I’d like to see Dave Grohl. In a band, in the kitchen, whatever.

MrsTommyBanks · 14/02/2019 14:07

Nirvana and Bowie.

MinesaPinot · 14/02/2019 14:09

I wish I'd seen Queen (with Freddie), David Bowie, Ella Fitzgerald (but I'd need a time machine to have seen her in her heyday) and The Doors (likewise).

I've been lucky and seen most people/bands that I'd want to, but would happily see the Foo Fighters again and again. And I'd like to see John Legend, Bruno Mars and Jack Savoretti.

FilthyforFirth · 14/02/2019 14:12

I saw Kanye at the top of his game before he got imvolved with that car crash of a family. I saw Prince from a hospitality box at the O2 which was amazing.

Will never get over not being able to see Michael Jackson live.

MinesaPinot · 14/02/2019 14:12

barryfromclareisfit You're on my page - Dave Grohl is a God. DH, unsurprisingly, does not agree with me.

Mayvis · 14/02/2019 14:15

Michael Jackson
Whitney Houston

I would love to see Elton John and Celine Dion one day.

beenandgoneandbackagain · 14/02/2019 14:27

I got to see Bowie once, George Michael 3 times, Prince umpteen times (can't count how many), Whitney Houston.

Out of those still alive, I've also seen Madonna who wasn't great, so I left after 2 songs.

OMD are one of the most amazing live bands ever - I know it probably won't seem it if you're only familiar with their records on the radio but everyone raves about them once they've seen them live.

I saw Tears for Fears back in the 80s and they seemed okay then. I saw them on their current tour and we left early because they were that bad, singing off key, not great at audience interaction, and sounded very unrehearsed at times.

I would love to have seen Queen too.

Strixaluco · 14/02/2019 14:36

Bowie, Leonard Cohen (kick myself about this because he played nearby and I thought "next time" - then he died a few months later), The Clash, The Jam (though I've seen Paul Weller solo several times).

Agree that OMD are brilliant live.

rubberduckyyouretheone · 14/02/2019 14:39

Beatles. Have always had a thing for George Harrison.

dartitus · 14/02/2019 14:57

AC/DC, George Michael, Michael Jackson and imagine dragons when they were in the uk last year :(

Laiste · 14/02/2019 14:57

Glad i saw:
OMD (loud!)
The cure
The Cult (3 times)
Sisters of Mercy

Wish i'd seen Bowie. I could have, as a teen in the 80s, but didn't go !! Shock :( Angry with self.

Laiste · 14/02/2019 15:00

OMD was good.
It was my first live band and i was pretty young and i wasn't particularly into their music but bloody hell - it was one of the loudest 'bass going right through your body' experiences i've ever had and i've not forgotten it !

Tinuviel · 14/02/2019 15:01

CaptainJaneaways, I saw Depeche Mode live years ago and I hate to break it to you but they were awful! I love their music and maybe it was the acoustics of the venue, maybe they were having a bad day but they got half way through 1 song before I realised which song it was.

David Bowie, on the other hand, was amazing - both times!

Would love to see ABC and Sting.

TheDogsMother · 14/02/2019 15:05

I had the offer of tickets for Live Aid and decided I couldn't afford it. I should have found a way. I did have tickets to see Michael Jackson then he died. All very sad

AnnPerkins · 14/02/2019 15:06

I'm glad I saw Prince - 4 times in all.

I wish I could have seen The Libertines in the early days when they used to play in flats to their mates. But even back then I would have been too old.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 14/02/2019 15:07

The Smiths (before Morrissey went racist)
Prince
George Michael
Mansun (all still alive but very unlikely to reform)

Suede and the Mission are my favourite gigs ever

BlueStockingUK · 14/02/2019 15:15

Pink Floyd
Bob Dylan
Queen ( Freddy )
Cold Play
George Micheal
INXS
Fleetwood Mac

Level 42..
But most in the whole wide world ( & not a band ) RIVERDANCE Grin

flirtygirl · 14/02/2019 15:20

Queen, Jon Bovi and New kids on the block.

NoWayNoHow · 14/02/2019 15:20

I wish I'd seen Queen with Freddie. I've watched them with Adam Lambert, which is next best thing, but would have loved to have seen the original and best.

Pearl Jam are on my bucket list of people to see.

Was really lucky to have been at Live 8 13/14 years ago, so ended up seeing tonnes of amazing acts (although only for short times) like Pink Floyd, The Who, etc

My inner 17 year old is over the moon that I'm finally getting to see Bon Jovi in June after missing their concert 25 years ago because of an over-running school event.

flirtygirl · 14/02/2019 15:21

Also Michael Jackson

turncloak · 14/02/2019 15:47

Queen with Freddie, like everyone is (rightly) saying. I saw them with Adam Lambert a few years ago and they were breathtaking, so I can't quite imagine how it would have been with the originals. I would have liked to have seen them when they toured with Paul Rodgers too, although the reviews were less than stellar at the time.

I've always thought Cher would put on a fantastic show. And I've wanted to see Meatloaf for years but a colleague saw him a few years back and said his age was definitely showing.

Hadjab · 14/02/2019 15:48

Queen and Bowie. Seeing Eagles and Fleetwood Mac later this year!

Paccs · 14/02/2019 15:51

I saw Queen at the Empire Pool Wembley in 1978.
I wish I'd seen Leonard Cohen.
Would love to see Mumford and sons. Blush
