you'd like to or plan to see one day?

My ones are Freddie Mercury at Live Aid, or George Michael at the Freddy Mercury memorial concert.

People I'd love to see live are Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Stone Roses, Prodigy.and Sia.

I'd also absolutely LOVE to see Tracy Chapman

I'm fortunate to have seen most of the big name bands that were around in the sixties and seventies, when I was young, and lots of less well known bands supporting them or at festivals.

I would have liked to see Cream, Janis Joplin and the Nice.

In the eighties and nineties, I saw fewer live bands but most of the ones I wanted, apart from Ian Dury and the Blockheads

Nowadays, I would like to see Muse, Corvus Corax and Gogol Bordello. And hopefully, I will.

@RonObvious

Would have liked to have seen: The Doors, Nina Simone.

Want to go see: Alice Cooper (have tickets for Hollywood Vampires, once they are allowed to tour again), The Killers, Yungblud, and once this craziness is over, am definitely going to see Frank Turner again, as he is one of the best live acts I have ever seen.

I've seen Alice Cooper twice in 2018 and 2019, some of the best gigs I've ever been to! Also have my second Killers gig lined up for 2020 2021 2022 and I can't wait Grin Sounds like I'll need to look into Yungblud and Frank Turner because you clearly have good taste Wink

I'd love to have seen Led Zeppelin at various points through their career, also The Doors, Rush during the 70s and 80s (saw them twice in the 2010s and they were amazing, but they're my favourite band of all time so I'd time machine back to every gig if possible!). The White Stripes as well! Bit of a contrast but I'd like to have seen Oasis too Blush

I have the Killers and the Fratellis booked for when we can go to gigs again, I'd love to see Alice Cooper and Foreigner again - both amazing shows! I'd like to take DP to see Jeff Lynne but tickets are expensive and who knows if he'll tour much longer.
I always regret not seeing Peace play at my uni student union a few years ago, tickets were something like £4 and now they're much more popular!

The original line up of Queen. They did play a concert at the ground near our house the year we moved in, but I was only 4 so only have very vague recollections of it.
I am (hopefully!) going to see the current line up next year. Other than that, I don't really know if there's anyone else I want to see.

@Animum2, not without Lindsey, OBVIOUSLY!

hansgrueber · 12/03/2021 11:24

I was asked if I wanted to go to a Queen concert but as I'd never heard of them I declined!

A friend of mine was chatted up by him in the band's hotel on one of his solo tours and she turned him down! You'd have to do it just for boasting rights wouldn't you?

As far as a point of view concern. my focus is on Lyrics not on music. If the lyric is meaningful your song will automatically go famous. Likewise, a Few days back I read Jeremiah Revel fiction Book which was full of adventure and feeling exciting throughout reading this book.

Wish I had seen:

Gary Moore
Prince
Whitesnake (in the early 80s, pre American success and bad bleach job)
Bruce Springsteen with Clarence Clemons in the band
Bob Marley
Blondie
Jeff Healey
The Travelling Wilburys

Wish I could have seen but I would have needed a time machine:

The Beach Boys very early on (early 60s)

Would like to see and theoretically still could:

Bruce Springsteen without Clarence
Eddy Grant(? is he still performing?)
Slash
The Black Mamba (bluesy Portuguese band who were in last year's Eurovision)
Sophie B Hawkins
