Sorry to be a bit dramatic and to use MN as a medical resource

I am feeling dreadful and have been all day. I’ve got a pounding headache, I feel sick and shivery and the skin in my legs has gone mottled (see picture)

I’ve got a massive day at work tomorrow so really don’t have time to go to my GP but I’m feeling dreadful and wondering if (assuming I still feel like this tomorrow) I should try and get to a walk in or something. (Also please excuse my fat legs)

Hope you're okay OP

nocoolnamesleft · 12/02/2019 21:26

That's...odd. Distinctly odd, in fact. In your situation I'd be having a quick trip to A&E to get checked out properly. Sepsis is not the only possibility, but is on the list. And is something with which one does not fuck around. A&E.

Lovingbenidorm · 12/02/2019 21:27

Op I hope you’ve got some medical advice.
Your symptoms sound very much like sepsis and you cannot afford to take chances.
Please don’t go to bed hoping to feel better x

PerkingFaintly · 12/02/2019 21:28

If you "just go to bed" you could die.

Etino · 12/02/2019 21:32

@catgirl1976
Whatever you do, don’t just take yourself to bed! Is there sbyone else in the house?

GabriellaMontez · 12/02/2019 21:32

How long have you had it?

FiveRedBricks · 12/02/2019 21:32

Do not just go to bed Confused even if they say to. Go to A&E. Stop fucking around. I wouldn't even bother with 111 I'd just go.

TheMaddHugger · 12/02/2019 21:36

I get that when I've been keeping a heated pack or blanket on me. I'm weird.

Hope it's not serious OP

LucyAutumn · 12/02/2019 21:38

I agree with FiveRedBricks OP, don't go to bed, please go to A&E Flowers

Passing4Human · 12/02/2019 21:38

Is there someone else in the house OP? I'd go to A&E for mottled skin like that with your other symptoms. Hope you're ok (and that you don't see this cause you're busy getting medical attention).

AnnaMagnani · 12/02/2019 21:39

Glass test is irrelevant. Please go to A&E.

CoperCabana · 12/02/2019 21:41

Hope you are on your way to hospital.

Kahlua4me · 12/02/2019 21:42

As others have said it’s best to go to a&e and get checked. The staff won’t mind at all. They would far rather you came in with nothing, than somebody sat at home not wanting to bother them and had sepsis.

Hope you get seen quickly.

yesyesyep · 12/02/2019 21:44

This should be seen by a medical professional. It could be nothing but it could be something serious. Please do not sleep on it. Time matters.

Whatsallthisaboutthen · 12/02/2019 21:46

I’d go straight to A&E too OP. Hope everything’s Ok.

Yougotdis · 12/02/2019 21:47

Get thee to a&e or walk in. Whichever is closest

Blackbear10 · 12/02/2019 21:49

Oh dear it seems like you may have logged off, but if not please don’t go to sleep!
You need to make sure that someone else is with you at least but honestly I think you should go to A&E.

ALemonyPea · 12/02/2019 21:49

I'd go to A&E rather that calll 111.

Hope you're ok.

Inaquandry06 · 12/02/2019 21:50

Definitely A&E with that rash coupled with the symptoms

TokyoSushi · 12/02/2019 21:51

Oh gosh, hope you're ok OP Thanks

GabriellaMontez · 12/02/2019 21:52

I get that when I have the laptop on my legs for a while...

SpanielEars070 · 12/02/2019 21:53

Could be a viral rash, but I'd want to get it checked before assuming it was.

Hope you manage to get seen OP.

JazzyBBG · 12/02/2019 21:54

Get some fresh air too do not go to sleep. Open window. In case Carbon monoxide related. I have a paranoia about this from personal experience.

Claw001 · 12/02/2019 21:55

Did you go to the hospital?
