Celery.

The tiniest slice ruins any meal. AIBU?

Do you have another suggestion?

Peas. Cucumber. Cinnamon.

Stumpted88 · 09/02/2019 20:56

Rocket

It has no place on a pizza or sneaking up on me in a nice crisp fresh salad!

Soberfutures · 09/02/2019 20:57

My DH would call them 'devils little snot ball's
Garden peas Smile

Stumpted88 · 09/02/2019 20:59

There is actually only 5 foods I hate:
Green olives (devils grapes)
Capers (devils raisins)
Raw oysters (although will happily eat sushi for all meals)
Rocket (see above, it’s such a rancid peppery taste)
Peanuts sprinkled on food (because once I had a chicken satay noodle dish hungover and I wasn’t expecting chunks of peanut in the sauce and I vomited on my plate, in the office canteen..)

Mushroom. Revolting things

quirkychick · 09/02/2019 21:12

Raw onion on food, you can't get rid of the taste it burns, weirdly fine with pickled onions or Indian onion salad in lemon juice.
Beetroot, I like it but it doesn't like me.
Blue cheese, love goats cheese and other pungent cheeses though.

I like most things on here, especially love coriander, coconut, dill, chilli, olives, rosemary, salted caramelthough.

Midnight21 · 09/02/2019 21:14

Mayo
Please do sarnies without,it tastes like I imagine an oil slick to taste

DurhamDurham · 09/02/2019 21:15

Foraminutethere · 09/02/2019 21:15

Cinnamon

Bleeuurrgghh

TrendyNorthLondonTeen · 09/02/2019 21:16

Ooh, and butter. I like butter on it's own but can't stand it with other things. Definitely not on sandwiches and watching anyone dipped buttered bread into soup makes me feel ill.

Galvantula · 09/02/2019 21:16

YaNBU about the celery.

Also coleslaw. 🤮

FlyingGiraffeBox · 09/02/2019 21:17

Redcurrents- when they adulterate a delicious sweet creamy cheesecake with these sour little balls of yuck still on the goddam twig because it's "pretty". No! Leave my cheesecake alone!

isseywithcats · 09/02/2019 21:18

red or green pappers in anything overpower all other tastes of food i can taste them a mile away hateful vegetables

isseywithcats · 09/02/2019 21:18

Smurfy23 · 09/02/2019 21:19

Green peppers. What is the point in them?!

Dillyson · 09/02/2019 21:20

Baked beans
Fried eggs
Chick peas
Ginger in desserts
Dark chocolate

theWarOnPeace · 09/02/2019 21:20

Agree on parsnips. They’re the weird ugly woodchips of Lucifer himself.

amusedbush · 09/02/2019 21:23

Onion.

Green pepper.

Coriander 🤢

TooManyPaws · 09/02/2019 21:24

Definitely raw onion. I love cooked onion but I just can't get along with raw onion. Even if I pick it off whatever, I can still taste it and it still gives me violent indigestion and horrific wind for hours.

Nottobesoldseparately · 09/02/2019 21:25

Lamb
Coffee
Broad beans

ScrimshawTheSecond · 09/02/2019 21:31

Sugar in savoury foods. It's in bloody everything these days, especially M&S foods, revolting.

userschmoozer · 09/02/2019 21:33

9 pages in and not one person has said Marmite?

cheesenpickles · 09/02/2019 21:33

Mushrooms. Their flavour sweeps into everything.

userschmoozer · 09/02/2019 21:33

Oh, and Xylitol.

FeedMeBooks · 09/02/2019 21:34

Mustard
Mayo
Dried fruit
Cinnamon how to ruin an apple crumble
