Ok.. so school drop off parkin is tight first come first serve kinda thing
.The road has houses with drives dropped kerbs etc so limited. However one lady is pissing me off.
A person who.lives in the house takes there car off her drive and parks in one of the limited spaces and waits for her friend to come then moves her car so her friend always has a space. Petty i no..but wtf if he friend cant get up early.like the rest of us this isnt our problem isit?? Petty i no. Bad morning.

For them to go to that much effort I would imagine there’s a reason and leave them to it

If fewer parents drove to school then there would be fewer parking dramas! Obviously there are kids and parents with disabilities or who got allocated a school miles away from home, but there’s a significant number who just do it because it’s easier and more convenient.

I see your cats and raise you my GodCat. (I do have two of my own, but can't add the pictures for some reason. Gingers must be magic.

Love the stray cat pic!
YANBU OP. That’s so frustrating. Band together with someone who can be there early and take that spot! Yes I know this is petty...

R3b3kah · 31/01/2019 21:18

So she’s lazy for doing the same thing you and every other mum is wanting to do?...
Park and take kids to school.
Does sound like your jealous because she has a friend who gets a space for her...
You snooze you lose Grin

R3b3kah · 31/01/2019 21:22

BUT it does seem a lot of faff

Baconmaker · 31/01/2019 22:35

YANBU it's not fair play but nothing you can do about it. I live near a school and let friends park across my drive but wouldn't save a spot.

Schmoobarb · 31/01/2019 22:38

It woulld bug me too even though it’s petty. Kudos to the friend though I couldn’t be arsed moving my car twice just so a pal could get a parking space

aquashiv · 01/02/2019 10:59

Three different schools sounds very stressful

neddle · 02/02/2019 13:48

@SkylightAndChandelier
My children are currently at 4 different schools and one preschool.
Given that my children are different ages, it’s entirely necessary, not because I’ve chosen ā€˜better’ schools for them.
Dd17 is at a girls secondary and ds13 is at a coed secondary - clearly he couldn’t have gone to her school.
Ds10 is at the local junior school and ds7 is at the local infant school. Nearest primary is too far and we wouldn’t get places, so they’re at different schools.

Wingedharpy · 02/02/2019 13:57

That is one good friend.
She is prepared to drag herself from her warm, cosy bed to sit shivering in her car, to save a space for her pal.
I'm clearly, a very poor friend.
