To start a positive thread about MM?

I really like her. I'm starting a positive thread about her, as I can't stand seeing her (or any celebs) torn apart for the most minuscule of things...

So what do we like about MM?

I think she's ace. I'm mixed race - the way she speaks so eloquently about growing up as a'biracial' woman speaks to me. She's so articulate. I also like how involved she is with the homeless community. My brother was homeless for a while and it was through charity and kindness that he found his feet.

Anyone else think she seems quite lovely?

I agree. She seems a perfectly nice, normal woman. The problem she will always have though is that she had a life before Harry and it was there for everyone to see. If we were in the pre-social media and celeb-obsessed age she’d have a fair crack (with most people).

I’m not too sure, but I hope one day they find her - it’ll be 12 years in May.

Personally, I like what I know of her. She’s modern and fresh. So what if she’s bossy? Aren’t we always saying that women shouldn’t be made to sit quietly in a corner? More importantly, Harry likes me her enough to marry her, that should be enough.

I have no issue with her at all. I like her and I also like KM. This weird pitting woman against woman is really stupid.

Agreed she as you say is mixed race, speaks on a range of subjects that I would champion, obviously loves her husband, is an ACTUAL commoner as in came from a single parent family/worked and was educated earning her own money. I'm certainly no royalist but I personally feel they have a place and she certainly comes across less patronising during Royal duties especially with those who have little. I don't however like her fashion sense if I had I figure like that I would definitely be going big shes a bit to safe for me 😂

The obsession and spite towards this woman is disgusting, here and in the media.
A horrible nagging voice at the back of my mind tells me it can only be due to one fact why she appears to be so despised.

She's great. Harry has definitely married up.

I honestly don't understand why people obsess about celebrities and royals to try and find things to not like about them. Like the clutching her bump thread. Like, who cares? Seriously.

I find all the dislike of her really ugly.

Aside from that I can't stand the institution and think it ought to be scrapped. The idea that some people are born better than others is abhorrent to me.

I like her too and I can't comprehend the level of hatred from some. She hasn't done anything wrong, she had a life and a decent career, was always involved in charity. Sure, she doesn't deserve a peace Nobel Price, but she has always been a very decent individual living a pretty much normal life - as much as an actress can do.

She has not shy away from engagements since she got married. I also find her beautiful and I like her style, she is always appropriate.

I am not a royalist and don't agree with the whole circus to be honest, but Meghan seems to be quite a lovely addition.

I think she’s stylish (yes I know she has a stylist or several), she carries herself well, she interacts with the public well, and she has made Harry happy.

None of us can imagine what she has been going through. I wouldn’t want to be in her place for anything.

What's funny - or pathetic- is that people hate for the sake of hating. There were some horrified comments about an outfit daring to bare... her shoulders (how bloody dare she).

DM readers seem to love Queen Letitzia of Spain and it's never mentioned that she was divorced before marrying into the royal family.

I love the fact she's had a full life before marrying into the royal family. No pretending she's some perfect little flower. It makes her relatable in a way none of the other royals are. She seems very confident and happy to express herself. Very admirable qualities I look up to her for.

I like her. She’s involved in good causes, she refuses to behave as though she’s ashamed of her family and her past despite the best efforts of the tabloid press to convince the world that she should be. Harry seems so happy. I don’t understand the hate at all.

As for Meghan: well I think she’s stunning and I don’t know why but I think it’s great that a “normal” person has married into the royal family. She’s really quite representative of normal people.

I watched Suits mainly because of Gabriel Macht (not even ashamed, the man is hot), but I liked her in that show too.
