To be saddened that my name makes me a CF?

My initials are C and F. So I frequently receive post that is addressed to Mrs CF Esker. Instead of my own names, these letters now automatically signify 'Cheeky Fucker' to me. Perhaps I should take it upon myself to become a CF and live up to my initials Confused

My working days were Tuesday, Wednesday And Thursday. A Twat worker, if you will

Whatjusthappenedthere · 15/01/2019 22:15

Before I re married my initials spelled out a rather nasty infection of the nether regions. At work we were identified on the computers by our initials. Grim. Grin

JosiahJames · 15/01/2019 22:15

@Misspatty - when I get married later this year I will also be Mrs BJShockBlushGrinGrin

bookmum08 · 15/01/2019 22:21

Before I was married my initials were FU.
Quite fun if I had to sign pointless bits of paper at work - especially if I didn't like the boss.

Hamandcrispsandwich · 15/01/2019 22:26

My initials are CK. I used to have a colleague who always called me Calvin Klein Grin

Osirus · 15/01/2019 22:31

Our daughter was nearly FFS Grin

chocolateworshipper · 15/01/2019 22:32

Oh God, seriously have fun with it. If you're a CF anyway, go all out and earn the title. Come and park on my drive if you like. Any plans to get married? Hen do in the Seychelles and de-friend anyone who's not willing to pay.

IreneWinters · 15/01/2019 22:40

Bloody hell, Op! I’ve just realised that I’m also a CF. I hadn’t noticed until this thread. Well, I can’t unsee that now. I’m not sure what to do with this information.

Beansandcoffee · 15/01/2019 22:42

I’ve just realised I’m a CF too. Never thought that until I read this thread.

I was taught by a Micheal Hunt.

ThePants999 · 15/01/2019 22:49

Mumsnet's glossary (www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms) is in dire need of an update - nobody's asking for people to regale them with cystic fibrosis stories!

pissedonatrain · 15/01/2019 22:50

Yes, have fun with it!

before marriage AF
after marriage AH

I'd love to be an FU. Would love initialing documents! Grin

Butterfly84 · 15/01/2019 23:04

I still read CF as cunt fucker Grin

alphajuliet123 · 15/01/2019 23:16

A colleague gave her son the first and middle names Richard Edward.

Dick Ed is growing up to be a lovely little fella.

alphajuliet123 · 15/01/2019 23:25

I've also heard of a happily accidental baby with the initials OOP-S, but as I heard it via a friend of a friend I'm not sure if it's completely true.

loveajamsandwich · 15/01/2019 23:26

Loopy that made me spit my drink out

livelyredjellybean · 15/01/2019 23:33

My grandfather had the initials V D, which during the war stood for Venereal Disease

Seren85 · 15/01/2019 23:40

DH and I were discussing potential baby names as we're TTC and agreed on a girl's name we both loved until it was pointed out the initials would be JCB!

formerbrosfan · 16/01/2019 17:34

Well I’ve got this all wrong, I thought CF was cunt face.....ever so slightly more offensive than Cheeky Fucker

MsLexic · 16/01/2019 17:46

My initials were V.D at school.

Fuzzywig · 16/01/2019 17:51

I think you should embrace your initials and change your name here too

CF Esker has a nice ring to it

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/01/2019 18:05

Feeling rather left out and in fear I may have to change my name by deed poll. My username initials spell MOLD.... almost mould. Best I can do I’m afraid. I think having the initials CF are only surpassed by FU!

Dita73 · 16/01/2019 18:07

My husband’s initials are PMT. Irony isn’t the word!

InSightMars · 16/01/2019 18:12

Close relation by marriage has the initials MAD which when due to be combined with a married surname of which the first three letters are COW - she decided to keep her maiden name.

Veryfinethreadmyfriend · 16/01/2019 18:14

My oh went to school with an Andrew Peacock - even worse when he shorted his name to Drew

MaidofEyes · 16/01/2019 18:16

My initials are AF. So if use the as fuck version in a text/online situation it looks like I'm signing off 'I'm hungry Angelina Fandango' and if when I use them as my initials anywhere, it feels like I'm just adding As Fuck to the end of emails etc.

Could use maiden name initial but I work with my dad who has the same initials and I could insert my middle name letter but that spells another word.
