I'll start.

Céline Dion - Fly

Bloody hell, what a song. I only just discovered it today. The feel of the song and the lyrics are out of this world. Truly amazing. And extremely comforting if you've been through a child loss. Listen if you have the time Thanks

On a lighter note, Let's here it for the boy - Deniece Williams Grin

Iamblossom · 17/01/2019 07:25

Omg I found it I am so excited I am working from home today and it is going to be on Sonos solidly Grin

really enjoying the playlist - it's the complete range of styles that's so interesting. Currently on Sparks - This Town Aint Big Enough for the Both Of Us - which I haven't heard for years.

Didn't know the Natalie Merchant track - loved that.

Queen and George Michael - Somebody To Love (the only person who could have joined Queen following Freddie Mercury's passing. He would've done a sterling job, not that he would've replaced Mercury; Mercury was, and is, totally irreplaceable)

So true. At the memorial concert imo George walked onstage, sang and blew every other performer away.

I'd like to add another one:

Glenn Frey - New Love. Beautiful song.

"What do I do now" Sleeper

I think GMs performance of Somebody to Love blew everyone away and as such is not underrated. When you realise what he was going through when he sang it, makes it even more emotional. I can remember everyone at the time saying Queen should reform with George.

Maybe we need another playlist of quite rightly rated songs!

No Surprise by Daughtry. Really underrated band. Loved Renegade too and just bought their last album.

Well, yes. Underrated as the live performance is one of the biggest standouts ever. Underrated as, imo, one of the top songs ever. WinkWink

I just remember the next day all the talk was of Bowie and Axl Rose with Elton John. For me George's performance was of the ilk of Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean at Motown 25 or Queen at Live Aid.
