What is the sexiest/coolest accent for a spouse.

I think the sexiest is French, the cutest is Swiss.

I was coming on to say my husband and I are from Wolverhampton so nobody would find our accent sexy or cool.

I'm from N Ireland and have often been complimented on my accent. Based on this thread I'm thinking I should open a premium rate phoneline where I could charge a fortune to talk nonsense to people

For me, I love a Yorkshire accent. Or it might be Lancashire? I know it's very controversial to mix the two up, please forgive me, I'm a foreigner.

Or Cork. Absolutely love a Cork accent.

yougotredonyou doesn't he always speak in his normal accent? I always thought it was a bit diluted because he's been in London for so long. But agree he would get anything he wanted regardless of his accent and I happen to love southern Irish accents too as a bonus.

RP is my favourite. But general north London/generic British accent is also quite charming. As is Russian, German, Irish and Scottish. I really dislike New Zealand accents and not overly fond of some Australian accents (Melbournian and Hobart accents are both rather horrid) but I am quite used to them so can easily overlook that because it doesn’t cause problems understanding.

I have to say I can't help but come over all funny with a proper Landan accent. Danny Dyer nails it for me.

Followed by soft German. Sebastian Vettel anyone?

When I was single I fantasised that my ideal man would have a Lancs accent. Just love it (and Yorkshire/Manchester.) Met DH and would have love dhim anyway but the Northern twang just makes my knees weak.

DP is a Geordie, always been my favourite accent so I am happy he hasn't lived there for many years so it isn't too harsh. Second favourite would be southern Irish swoon
