What is the sexiest/coolest accent for a spouse.

I think the sexiest is French, the cutest is Swiss.

SA accent is similar to the NZ accent in some ways.

Mmm, love a norn irish accent, but a sucker for a French or Spanish accented girl. Mind you I also live my DW’s soft American accent...

Northern Irish vote here. Makes me go weak at the knees. Which is often unhelpful.

Can't stand French, Spanish or Italian accents. Generally don't like anything from Southern or Eastern Europe. Love Irish and Scottish though.

Northern Irish (Fermanagh, Tyrone, or Co Down specifically, although there are few N Irish accents other than very harsh Belfast that I don't like). It makes me go weak at the knees!

Scottish accents South and north of the Central Belt.
Irish but not Northern Ireland. Used to love getting calls from colleagues in Dublin though they could be reciting the telephone directory for all I cared.

Forgot to say, I have possibly the world’s most boring, unsexy accent; I’m from Stafford. My boyfriend tries to do my accent (& fails miserably) - he’s from the North East which is a lovely friendly accent.

Ha about the phone call. I had to phone a helpline at work and the person on the other was Northern Irish, and I swear my colleagues were pissing themselves laughing at the daft grin on my face as I listened to the dreamy explanation of what precisely I had to adjust on the machinery to make it work.

My DP is from the Black Country

My ex had a voice similar to Bill Nighy, the only thing I miss about him.

DP speaking English in his Portuguese accent. He has a very low voice and when he speaks quietly to me it makes my thighs loosen.

It's like having a teenage holiday romance every day.

Agree with the Swiss accent being cute but only when they speak English to me, rather than Swiss German.

Canadian. He was bloody lovely and my one that got away. Was like being in bed with a film star 😅
