If pod is tho i think they would make it so that brieanne is the one to kill him, which would be interesting as her natural instinct would be to kill a white walker, but if its pod she will feel conflicted and be devastated if she has to kill him

Varys as a faceless man?? Interesting theory

I don’t understand the Varys as a faceless man theory? Especially as in the books he goes to extreme lengths to disguise himself by dressing as a homeless man and actually stinking. He seems genuinely helpful and interested in the good of the realm.

Sorry if posted this already. But Varys is definitely not a faceless man. Faceless men have nothing to do with politics.

I've seen a similar theory before but still don't buy it, even though parts of it are well connected, it seems too straight lined for a series that has so many pieces.
I am still slightly suspicious of Varys but I don't think this will be the answer.
The Faceless men killed their dragon lord enslavers, whilst Varys plotted to give a Targaryen dragon eggs?
If death and destruction was his goal, Varys has made some very inconsistent moves.
I'll come back and concede in May when it's all over if I'm wrong though

I don’t think the faceless man CT holds up entirely, but I love the general thrust of it.

I’ve always been deeply suspicious of Varys and none of the more popular theories in the fanverse (all the Blackfyre stuff) cuts it for me.

George was once asked which characters were most misunderstood by fans and he identified Varys and Mel. That intrigued me.

Not that any of this matters. The theories apply to the books. No way can D&D do justice to the complexity of George’s work. Their ending will be much more straightforward than George’s would have been.

However I don’t think we’ll get another book from George let alone the completion of the series so this last series is all we have.

@LaurieMarlow please don't say we won't get another book. I have convinced myself the delay has been deliberate, to let the show finish so that then GRRM can release something 10000x more epic and put it to shame.
If the last TV season was anything to go by I doubt I'll be satisfied with the shows ending.
But since it's all we've got for now I'm still peeing myself with excitement

They wouldn't need to be in the same scene for @TinselAngel theory to work, if the writers of the show wanted it they could just make it so that any meeting between them took place off camera, so they could both speak of the meeting between them to other characters, so thats how we find out about it, we just don't see it happen
