I like Daenerys but I’m hoping for Jon Snow to get his happy ever after, and Arya too :)

I don't think it'll be too hideous an ending. My take on GOT is that although it's gut wrenching at times, that's what makes it so great when the baddies get their comeuppance - Frey, Bealish, Joffrey, Ramsey, Roose, Tywin (much as I loved that character!). So I think it'll be a mixed bag of heartbreak and satisfaction. Hope so anyway!!🤞

All these pregnancies - now the white walkers are over the wall are we supposed to believe there is time for any of them to get to term?

I’ve been rewatching in preparation for the new series!

One thing that’s jumped out at me is the mysterious voice that came out of the flames when Varys’ “parts” were thrown on the fire by the evil sorcerer.

A Red Priestess speaks to him when he’s at Meereen with Tyrion (while Dany is at Dosh Khaleen). She says something about “do you want me to tell you who that voice was and what it said” and I think earlier he said to Tyrion or someone that he’ll never forget that voice/sound.

What’s this all about?!

Also the woman at Qarth who wears a sort of chain mail face covering who helps Jorah find out where the dragons were or something. Do we know who she is or was that just a nothing?

DH and I are rewatching from the beginning and can I just say watching Neds journey of bad decisions is just as stressful this time around.

A pp said they didn’t think the black haired boy of cersei’s actually happened but she does actually mention it when she has a rare talk with Robert and she says she loved him once “even after we lost our boy” so unless she was unaware and Robert squirrelled the baby away somewhere for some reason I don’t think that baby will turn out to be Gendry

I do want to see gendry and Arya reunited though

Researching from the start, noticed that Melisandre isn't wearing her necklace in one scene. S3 ep 8 ( I think) when she's having a bath and Stannis' wife comes in and they talk about taking Shereen with them. Just an error because that plot device was decided on later or is there a reason for it?

Loving watching it all again, picking so much up from this time!

Y'know, I was thinking as I was doing my washing, that it occured to me the possibility of Cersai compromising Jaime by telling Jon that Jamie pushed Bran out the window. She would do something like that especially now that Jaime walked out from her to go to the North. It would stir tensions between Jon/Jaime and perhaps she'd do it hoping they would fight between themselves. Maybe it would lead to Cersei being killed by her 'little brother', her prophesy coming true.

last years Red nose day re Game of Thrones - it amused me. In case it amuses anyone else.

We’ve just watched the finale of season 5. It’s stupid, because I know what happens next, you know, having already seen seasons 6 and 7 but im weeping for Shireen, irrationally and desperately worried about Jon Snow in that he might really be dead, Sansa or Theon may have broken a limb or a neck jumping from that very high wall and Daenerys is in a terrible bind surrounded by a Dothraki horde! Oh and Arya is blind!

DH has done some complicated calculations to ensure an equitable viewing schedule. He has taken the number of episodes remaining to us on our rewatch and the number of days before the start of the new season and wants to spread out our viewing of each episode accordingly so that the season finale of season 7 occurs exactly one week before the 1st episode of the new season. I may have to kill him and put his head on a spike.

Anyone else find it curious that Daario Naharis hasn't got a throne photo? I mean Ser Davos has one... Grey Worm has one... Ser Jorah has one... etc etc... why no Daario?

Because they wrote him out! He's not in it anymore!

angelo - as bartonhollow says, all the others were in S7 and he wasn't, so either he's out for good (in which case would make no sense to have a photo), or he does come back (leader of the sellsword company Cersei has hired is the theory, isn't it?) in which case having a poster would be a huge spoiler

I don't remember him being written out clearly forgotten more than I realised!
