I like Daenerys but I’m hoping for Jon Snow to get his happy ever after, and Arya too :)

As much as I love the Hound I have to agree with you on this one. He had still better not die though.

Sweetpea55 · 28/01/2019 16:54

Jon Snow dies

MyOtherProfile · 28/01/2019 21:14

Jon Snow dies
Again?

crispysausagerolls · 29/01/2019 10:48

Just watched the bit where Ayra leaves the hound to die - why does she do it?!?

BartonHollow · 29/01/2019 12:03

Because he was on her kill list but her journey with him made her respect him and she no longer wants to kill him but she doesn't want to save him either.

crispysausagerolls · 29/01/2019 12:46

I like that answer

shirleyschmidt · 29/01/2019 20:02

Love the Hound! That scene in S4 where he takes on all those soldiers at the inn and tells them he's gonna eat every fucking chicken in the room!

Neversurrender65 · 29/01/2019 20:24

We play the “Six Degrees” thing with the cast. So many big names in amongst lots of very good youngsters. The actor who played Vyseris played Henry Percy in Wolf Hall, The Hound was most famous for being the Quaker Oats Kilted Caber Tosser, the actor Ian Whyte who played the Mountain in early series decided to play Wun Wun the giant in the later series.

SaucyJack · 29/01/2019 20:30

Plus the actor who plays Ser Rodrik Cassel is the father of Podrick Payne in real life.

Neversurrender65 · 29/01/2019 20:37

Ilyn Payne, Wilko Johnson, guitarist with Dr Feelgood, last seen on Christmas University Challenge! Still on Arya’s list........

Bittermints · 29/01/2019 21:15

The Edmure Tully actor (Tobias Menzies) is about to be Prince Philip in The Crown.

OneInAMillionYou · 29/01/2019 21:26

Wilko Johnson is in tour again this year! That'll make it easy for Arya to find him! 😀

Neversurrender65 · 29/01/2019 21:35

TM was in HBO’s Rome as well as Brutus. If any GoT fans haven’t seen this, then give it a go, superb acting, great interpretation of history.

BartonHollow · 29/01/2019 21:49

Tobias Menzies is also Frank and Jack from Outlander

Then there's Jerome from Robson And

I keep spotting Barristan Selmy in stuff

Then thingy was in Discovery Of Witches, Alliser Thorne

I do that list all the things you've seen them in too Blush

It's that guy from that thing!

Habadabadoo · 31/01/2019 18:08

@shirleyschmidt just watched s4 the hound and Arya kick ass in the tavern! Love those two together!

shirleyschmidt · 31/01/2019 19:35

@Habadabadoo 👊👊 excited for a S8 reunion!

crispysausagerolls · 04/02/2019 18:01

Just saw the Ed sheeran scene - WHYYYY

Habadabadoo · 04/02/2019 19:17

On season 5 now (spending a lot of time at home at the moment!). This is the season you can see Sansa changing. The turning points for her are when she saves Little Finger by lying about him pushing her aunt through the moon door. Then when they stand before the Bolton castle as LF tells her she is to marry Ramsey which she finds appalling but he tells her to use it to avenge her family. She realises she has to use whatever strengths she has (her beauty and family name) to survive and take action rather than being a bystander/victim. I'm really enjoying the well thought out storyline of her character. I hope she makes it to the end!
Ps Ramsey Bolton Iwan Rhoen was great in Riviera.

One of those questions that has no sensible answer.

TheGirlWithAllTheFeathers · 05/02/2019 08:56

I'm thinking none of 'em will get it. George RR doesn't do happy endings. All our faves will be killed and we'll all be left upset. i'm not sure if I will even watch the final season. I might just read about it and watch it afterwards so I don't get any nasty surprises (of which there will be many). Everyone good and noble will be killed; everyone horrid will get a moment of triumph; wicked schemes will work....etc. I just don't know if it'll be worth the emotional strain.

BartonHollow · 05/02/2019 11:08

Thomas Turgoose is also sat in the Ed Sheeran scene for apparently no reason

Dexra · 05/02/2019 11:45

Does anyone else think the Lord of Light is a really bad guy? Not only do his followers burn people for his amusement, he seems to have manipulated everything so that the white walkers could bring down the wall. The dragons were born in the fire. He brought Jon back, who promptly decides to go north and capture a white Hmm. He gave the Hound a vision in the flames of where they'd find the whites. The night king then gets his dragon.
If Jon had just done what everyone else did and tried to ignore the whites, the wall would still stand. Which wouldn't make for much of a climax, but it is strange to have the two 'heroes' effectively bringing down the apocalypse on everyone.

Maybe because he is an actor? And he is acting in something? Hmm

BartonHollow · 05/02/2019 21:29

My point being Hmm that as he is known to be a pretty good actor why is he just brought in to be a random Lannister extra in a scene that should have been cut.

MyOtherProfile · 07/02/2019 07:44

Just read an article about what GoT characters look like in series 8 and there were NO pics of the Hound. Now I am really worried he isn't going to be in it much again.
