I had no objection to Cats age, considering Jon and Robbs ages. They were meant to be grown ass men (albeit young men) and she matched that fairly well I thought.

I think Arya will be the only one left, slow zoom out as she sitting on the throne and pulls mask of and it's tom cruise and mission impossible theme starts playing haha

Nah I think it's too popular now to please everyone so as long as not a happy clappy ending where all "man" united to defeated the greater evil and all is right again, not GRRM but feel the show has become linear and predictable since moved past books and show runners in charge.

And Dani to die she does my nut in, but utterly useless if did not have dragons and swans about like she is untouchable

I tell you what, watching it from the beginning is really depressing, knowing that 90% of the characters we're watching are going to die...

If Bran and Night King are the same person, why is Bran trying to kill all people?

Wonder whether GRRM has any idea about how he wants it to end or maybe just doesn’t care. Must be a reason he’s not finished the saga.

I heard GRRM had told them his "bittersweet" vision for the end and they are honouring it... Not sure if that's true

I’m sure GRRM still cares about the books, but it’s pretty clear he’s prioritising his advisory role to the TV show right now, so it stands to reason that needs to finish first so he’s got the last couple of books to tie in the storylines so all the major characters end in roughly the same place.

I once saw an interview with the producers of got and GRRM had made them say who they thought Jon’s mother was after two books to check they understood the “feel” if the plot. Once they impressed him and got the job they were given the outline of the story and ending, even though it was years ago.

I'm watching it all again. On season one at the moment and keep wanting to scream at Ned and Cat 'don't make such stupid decisions'! I just have a feeling it's not going to end well for them !

I’m quite shocked how much I’d forgotten, particularly how despite Cersei being a twat, there was a nice side and Jaime was an absolute cunt! Although I maintain that he pushed Bran out the window as he’d had a premonition of how irritating he was going to be as a teenager.

Also rewatching Season. They're all making stupid decisions, Catelyn, Ned, Dany, the lot of them!

Forgotten how annoying Ros/the general gratuitous shagging was at the beginning. I wonder if they’d still do it the same way if they could start again, now that they know that the show is at least as popular with adult women as with teenage boys.

Yup I’m up to episode 5 and the tit count is ridiculous. I only started watching GOT when it had been on a few years and people raved about it, I doubt I’d have stuck with it from the start due to the gratuitous T&A!

It’s what has been putting me off re watching series 1. Perhaps I will start at series 2!

I remember my niece telling me to stick with it. I’m glad I dd. But gosh the first series was a bit gratuitous.

Series one went overboard on boobs and nakedness in general to shock people probably. After that it calmed down a lot and progressed into more story line events

Bran can transcend time, look at the hold the door, hodor scenes, he can’t control anything though directly and he shares his thoughts with those he merged with. If he was to join minds with the nights king he could become as one with him, neither good nor bad, just doing what he/it needs to do. Bran wasn’t in the recent trailer in the crypts with Arya, Sansa and Jon, but the Night king appeared

I just watched S6E6. Two things pissed me orf royally.

1. Stupid Hound throwing rocks at the wights. Had he kept to himself, the wights would have most likely stood dormant.
2. Stupid Jon not getting on Drogon when he should have. Everyone was waiting for him to stop fighting and it gave the Night King his oppertunity to kill Viserion.

(But a lot of people still are annoyed at Sansa for being so (understandably) compliant to the Lannisters. That's nothing in comparison)
