For me it's cheese! Any kind of cheese!!!! I am in LOVE with CHEESE!!! Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brie, mozzarella, provolone, you get the idea! Grin

However, I have a friend tell me that she thought it was disgusting! Shock even though she relished ketchup sandwiches! Blergh!

I knew another guy who could simply eat a raw onion like an apple, no problem! My autist mind thought, "I wonder if he will be a serial killer one day?" I know, I'm weird! HA!

What one food do you enjoy tremendously on it's own, but according to some people, it makes them want to gag?

Cold tinned peas with salt.

Black pudding 😍

DoubleNegativePanda · 10/01/2019 20:20

I eat bread and butter pickles straight out of the jar, and can easily eat half a jar at a time (only stopped by my mouth shriveling and burning). I also love to microwave a bowl of tinned sweetcorn with a bit of butter, salt and pepper.

I might need bread and butter pickles now.

BlackPrism · 10/01/2019 20:21

Oh and I could eat olive tapenade with a spoon.

wigglybeezer · 10/01/2019 20:28

I love the tiny capers in brine.
Anything pickled basically, I made a huge jar of home made sauerkraut and had it with everything, must do it again soon, dead easy.

ApproachingATunnel · 10/01/2019 20:28

Sour cream - just like yoghurt but much nicer
Boiled Buckwheat with butter and salt = delicacyGrin

Weatherwax · 10/01/2019 20:32

Raw pastry. Started when I was pregnant. Still eating all my pastry trimmings now!

EmUntitled · 10/01/2019 20:39

Big ol' chunk of marzipan 😋

Sweet corn from the tin.
Pickled onions obviously.

tillytrotter1 · 10/01/2019 22:20

Raw cauliflower, far more flavour than cooked!

ooh ooh ooh! I've got another, aside from drinking glasses of pure vinegar.

I love banana and cheese toasties. Most people look at me as if I'm mad, but it is lovely.

Also fish paste and raspberry jam sandwiches. Fab combination.

No one will even have a taste.Sad

BridgeFarmKefir · 10/01/2019 23:18

Frozen peas
Smash granules
Grin

MitziK · 11/01/2019 01:20

@BridgeFarmKefir

I'm shocked! Shocked! As would be Jenny-Dahling!

The OH has a thing for crunchy peanut butter and tinned spaghetti on toast. I ended up trying it once when expecting spaghetti on toast LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING.

It's actually quite nice.

CollyWombles · 11/01/2019 01:37

Loads really,

Any sort of pickle, gerkin, onion beetroot, red cabbage, cauliflower, eggs.

Cherry tomatoes cut in half covered in aromat seasoning.

Plain pasta with olive oil, cracked black pepper and sea salt flakes.

Vinegar. Oxo cube crumbled. Raw brussel spouts. Butter dipped in sugar.

Crunchy peanut butter off the spoon.

Whole jars of green olives stuffed with garlic.

jessstan2 · 11/01/2019 01:41

Cheese, all types.

Greensleeves · 11/01/2019 01:43

Salt

AdultHumanFemale · 11/01/2019 01:54

Haven't RTFT Grin but hey, the skins of grilled chicken thighs.
There are lots of things here that I wouldn't believe anyone would say "Eugh!" to (that was the criteria, right?) which makes me wonder if I'm properly grim; who doesn't love crunchy peanut butter off a spoon?

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 11/01/2019 02:21

@AdultHumanFemale, I too adore chicken skin-especially dark meat!

However, I despise crunchy peanut butter. Just the thought of eating it makes me want to heave. Blech!

An acacado. I cut it in half and eat it with a spoon. Didn’t know it was weird until I was quite old- my Mum eats them like that, I assume because of 70s dinner parties. I also sometimes put a bit of French vinegerette in the hollow and channel Esther from The Bell Jar too, if I’m feeling especially pretentious. I’ve never mixed it with grape jam though, so I’m not that pretentious *

ILoveDaveGrohl · 11/01/2019 02:31

Cold mushy peas. Fork straight into the tin

ReggieKrayDoYouKnowMyName · 11/01/2019 02:32

Ffs “Avocado” obvs. Fat thumbs (from all the avocados. But at least it’s the right kind of fat).

BridgeFarmKefir · 11/01/2019 02:54

@MitziK I'm definitely more Grundy than Aldridge! Wink

Commonwasher · 11/01/2019 03:13

Jux, yes cheese on banana on toast! Food of the gods!! Why isn’t everyone eating it?
