Inspired by another thread about worst jobs. What are the coolest/sexiest jobs?

OP posts:
BlueJava · 08/01/2019 21:09

Software enginner - clever, fix anything, good money, so reliable! Wouldn't change him for the world.

goldpendant · 08/01/2019 21:10

Can confirm architect DH indeed very sexy.

insideoutsider · 08/01/2019 21:11

A filthy rich lawyer... with words cascading out of his lips so deliciously... he loves his work and has a city centre office... and he is outdoorsy.
And he plays the guitar.

Sorry, I know it was just the job you asked for but my image completes it.

Grin

I think Daddy Pig is a structual engineer. Engineers are pretty sexy but I may be biassd says the electrical engineer

Betty777 · 08/01/2019 21:13

Fighter Pilot. Or probably Commercial pilot - less dangerous, they'd be away sometimes (no bad thing in my eyes) plus airmiles and holiday perks

Also another vote for decisive men in suits

DailyMailFail101 · 08/01/2019 21:13

Doctor, not a GP though a hospital doctor or surgeon

leghoul · 08/01/2019 21:13

Anaesthetist
Professional rescue scuba diver

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 08/01/2019 21:13

Erm just someone who enjoys their job, works hard (obviously apart from hit man, etc) and isn't up their own arse.

Whoever said Graphic Designer - have you met any? (Type an email to them in Comic Sans they will literally explode 😂)

rolypolydoll · 08/01/2019 21:14

I love a psychiatrist, so sexy.

HumberElla · 08/01/2019 21:14

Farrier/blacksmith. All that sweaty crashing around with hot metal and fire, but at the same time being confident and gentle with animals.
Swoon.

puzzledlady · 08/01/2019 21:16

investment banker
rocket scientist
surgeon
fighter pilot

I married one of those men who had the above job :)

Totopoly · 08/01/2019 21:17

Lawyer? Not a horny-handed son of toil, at any rate.

Plaiceholder · 08/01/2019 21:17

Marine biologist.

TakenForSlanted · 08/01/2019 21:17

I can see architect in the abstract but then I remember ...

... my dad. Confused

MissWilmottsGhost · 08/01/2019 21:18

Ooh I know a graphic designer, I'm going to try it Grin

Amortentia · 08/01/2019 21:19

Anything that requires the wearing of a well cut suit. 😋

Xmasbaby11 · 08/01/2019 21:20

Something medical definitely. I always fancy my consultants. Even my gynaecologists!

MissWilmottsGhost · 08/01/2019 21:20

I know a marine biologist Plaiceholder

Not sexy. And also away on a boat for half the year, so even if he was you couldn't do anything about it Grin

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 08/01/2019 21:20

DH is a farrier and he's pretty sexy

Bunnyfuller · 08/01/2019 21:21

@Mayvis fighter pilots are usually quite short to fit in the cockpit and reach everything. I’ve worked with many and sexy is rare. And the American ones are not like Top Gun. Except short. Like Tom Cruise. But not hot like he was then. More like the thin geek in front of a computer. Usually like rock or country music. Just my experience of course (before any hot, tall, Indy-loving fighter pilots for the US come to tell me off).

For me it’s anything that can drive fast with blue lights Blush. —no I don’t binge watch 999 what’s your emergency/inside the ambulance—

My husband has been on one of the popular TV blue light reality programmes a couple of times but you wouldn’t know (did not allow face to be filmed).

SadOtter · 08/01/2019 21:21

I was going to go with guitar teacher as it combines sexy musician vibes and caring teacher vibes but actually I think @LadyMonicaBaddingham is on to something, running your own business and being able to keep the house professionally clean sounds pretty sexy to me!

mimibunz · 08/01/2019 21:23

Physicist or vet

MattBerrysHair · 08/01/2019 21:24

Something outdoorsy like ranger or arborist, or blacksmith/stonemason type of job. Definitely not anything that requires the wearing of a suit.

MujosMama · 08/01/2019 21:25

I haven't seen police yet! DH is not usually in uniform but when he is, he wears this tight fitting black long sleeved top thingy that really pushes my buttons

Flippntuck · 08/01/2019 21:29

Dave Grohl? 😉 @ShinyMe
