In your opinion. Not listening to social media or hear say or stereotypes.

If you were to go on a date what would be the one job that would put you off?

I think my husbands would come in the top 3 😩😩😩.

It's not new we have been together 12 years but when I mention it on here no matter what the bloody subject is they use his job as the reason for my post!!!

I would say Estate Agent or Car Salesman.

I’ve not yet met an honest one of either and they have all been equally smarmy and patronising.

And big City/finance type job. I cringe at the thought of those city types (I have known a lot of them in my time!). Thankfully, my dh who works in a very unique artsy creative field is about as far opposite as you can get.

Possibly cleaner? Well my DP got a few raised eyebrows when he was cleaning... until he told people the reason why he cleans (that pissed me off because like he should need a reason to be a male cleaner)
He is a qualified chef, a bloody good one at that, and a he has his own business as a cake maker!
But, the hours in cheffing were long! When we had our first baby he hated that he spent so much time away from her. He quit his job and went into cleaning. He was out of the house before dawn but was home just after lunch...he got to spend most of the day with his family! He preferred to be a hands on Dad and to be around his family than be a successful chef, away from family all hours and weekends!

I hear they get paid fairly well and finish early (due to early start) so it seems to be a job with positive aspects.

Many jobs involve bad smells, they do wash off.

Or maybe I just don't notice cos I'm a microbiologist so I spend a fair amount of time digging around in poo

Any job where over, say, 45 hours per week is the absolute norm and expected. No matter the salary! Same for women.
