oreo1234 · 08/01/2019 19:44

I've named changed for this.

In your opinion. Not listening to social media or hear say or stereotypes.

If you were to go on a date what would be the one job that would put you off?

I think my husbands would come in the top 3 😩😩😩.

It's not new we have been together 12 years but when I mention it on here no matter what the bloody subject is they use his job as the reason for my post!!!

PurpleDaisies · 08/01/2019 19:53

Why is the “for a man” there? Why can’t it be “worst job for a partoner”?

Grin yes! Both of those would have me running, particularly mime. I seriously can't stand it. Imagine the rigmarole just establishing if he wanted a cup of tea.

oreo1234 · 08/01/2019 19:54

Ok I should have worded it differently.

What would be the last job you would want YOUR partner to do.

Not just the worst job a man could do in general.

OP posts:
lemonface · 08/01/2019 19:55

I would be put off by builder too Confused

Pachyderm1 · 08/01/2019 19:55

Intrigued as to what the job is now!

For me the top three worst would be:

Farmer (long hours, inflexibility over time off, financial insecurity)

Pretty much anything involving shift work (huge kudos to those who do it, I couldn’t cope with the changing routines)

Anything involving abbatoirs (squeamish vegetarian)

WontonSoupForTheSoul · 08/01/2019 19:55

Gynecologist

lemonface · 08/01/2019 19:55

Have we guessed yours yet OP?

Batteriesallgone · 08/01/2019 19:56

Animal farmer.

Went out with a dairy farmer once. He still smelt after 3 showers. Plus the commitment, the early mornings, the no holidays...I get it’s a way of life some people love but it’s not for me.

Also would never date someone in the adults films industry - in front of or behind the camera.

ShadyLady53 · 08/01/2019 19:56

I don’t think these are awful jobs or anything like that but, due to my personal beliefs, I couldn’t be in a relationship with anyone who was military or ex-military or someone who worked for a company like BAE or any weapons making facilities.

Payday loans, betting companies, porn/sex workers etc are also out, basically anything immoral in my opinion.
