I've named changed for this.

In your opinion. Not listening to social media or hear say or stereotypes.

If you were to go on a date what would be the one job that would put you off?

I think my husbands would come in the top 3 😩😩😩.

It's not new we have been together 12 years but when I mention it on here no matter what the bloody subject is they use his job as the reason for my post!!!

Priest

AintNobodyHereButUsReindeer · 08/01/2019 19:58

Something that meant he came home stinking of something gross.

You know we 100% need to know what job your DH does now :o

Didiusfalco · 08/01/2019 19:58

I’m thinking porn star, stripper, and possibly would find a bouncer a bit unappealing (i think that’s what your dp is op - amirite??)

oreo1234 · 08/01/2019 19:58

Yes it's been said twice 😢 not as many as I had thought though.

Allthewaves · 08/01/2019 19:58

Anything that takes them away for long periods - forces, lorry driver, rig worker

MissWilmottsGhost · 08/01/2019 19:58

WTF? Confused

IME a man with any job is preferable to a lazy jobless layabout and drug dealer like my XP was.

There are many jobs that I wouldn't want to do, but I'm not sure I would necessarily judge a guy just for doing them.

I would perhaps be put off if they were a workaholic doing 18 hour days and weekends because I would never see them so what's the point?

what is the job?

Batteriesallgone · 08/01/2019 19:59

He’s a farmer isn’t he

Farmers and their partners are always super defensive

ShadyLady53 · 08/01/2019 19:59

Is he a fishmonger op?

RosemarysBabyDress · 08/01/2019 19:59

any job on minimum wage.

lemonface · 08/01/2019 19:59

OPs DP is an Estate Agent I reckon

GinIsIn · 08/01/2019 19:59

Clown is the only one that’s been mentioned twice....

Sigh81 · 08/01/2019 20:00

Oooh. Is it MP then? Or adult films? Or instagram influencer-all those have come up a few times.

Am so intrigued!

Hefzi · 08/01/2019 20:00

Interesting to see what other people have said: farmers and forces would be my dream - you don't see the bugger for months at a time, and when they are around, they're always at work Grin

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 08/01/2019 20:00

Fenella

Oh, and, management consultant. Not horrible per se - in fact I know a whole lot of them and love then dearly - but it's what I do and it'd either result in shop talk in bed on a Sunday morning if he was with the firm or not being able to bitch about work if he was with the competition. Very unpractical.

AgnesNaismith · 08/01/2019 20:01

He’s definitely an Estate Agent.

For me:
Footballer
Estate Agent
Recruitment Consultant

Hefzi · 08/01/2019 20:01

I think I have it, op - you're Mrs Michael Gove Grin

Abattoir worker has been mentioned twice. I think that's it.

Wotev · 08/01/2019 20:02

I was chatting to one guy for about a week whose job was to empty/change sanitary bins in offices/bars. He would talk for hours about how many trips up and down the stairs he had done. It got very boring.
Ones I don't click on are writer/dj/musician.
One I've ignored yesterday was a cleaner. I want someone who earns more than the minimum wage.
I also don't like administrators or those who work in public service.

jenthelibrarian · 08/01/2019 20:02

Tory MP, anything military, vicar, anything to do with gambling or porn, or violence like boxing.

lemonface · 08/01/2019 20:02
