Just as the title says really. They would have only been 3 by the year 2000. They are a 00's kid, right?

My cut off for anyone claiming they are a child of the decade they were born in is 19X3 maybe 19X4 at a push and even then most of their childhood would have been spent in the next decade

Yup, I was born on a decade cusp and consider myself a child of the following decade.

I agree, I think of myself as a 90s kid, though I was born in the 70s, because my teens started in 1990. Strictly speaking, I was an 80s kid, and the 90s were the 'years of my youth' tho.

I was born in 92 but although my early childhood was in the 90s, I think of myself as a 00s child as those were the years I turned into a teenager and did my real growing up.

Born in 56, consider myself a 60’s kid, 70’s teenager. Best of both worlds music wise, although I think the 70’s music was better as there was such a variety.
