I have:

Half a Christmas pudding
One and a half tubs of brandy butter
Some cheese
Some Christmas ham - bin?

We finished all the chocolates and sweets today.

Two mince pies
Three quarters of a tin of shortbread
Loads of cheese
Crackers
A chocolate orange
1.5 tubs of rum soaked sultanas
A box of champagne truffles
A box of Bendicks mints

I don't count the booze, it keeps for ever.

HoliestGoat · 31/12/2018 16:37

I went for a 'restrained' theme (and we were away on 25/26 anyway) so we've got normal quantities of stuff, there wasn't really an excess to start with. Last year i was in bed with flu from boxing day and the leftovers were waiting for me in the fridge when i surfaced on 4th, it was a horror Envy !

Except chocolate, we've been given industrial quantities so we have enough to last the year.

The downside to not having done a super-shop pre Xmas was that when DH popped out today to do a regular weekly bread/milk/veg shop the stores were mobbed with people bearing huge trolleyfulls, and had sold out of lots of staples.

harriethoyle · 31/12/2018 16:38

Just made the most sexual mac and cheese with leftover cheddar, goat and parmesan cheese. Added in all the leftover charcuterie. It was incredible and tomorrow's fry up will finish all the other bits off!

OneStepMoreFun · 31/12/2018 16:43

Half a big Christmas cake
all of a small Christmas cake
A massive wheel of Stilton
Two big tins of sweet biscuits
Several other cheeses
A crate of booze
A few stray chocolates and bags of sweets
Two bags of wlanuts in shells we forgot about (love them so will happily eat them while on health kick in new year)
A net of clementines
Two boxes of mince pies
Some party bags of crisps

Chucked out the last of the Christmas Pud, Yule log and Sticky Toffee pud

Most of the left overs are stuff we were given that we wouldn't normally buy or eat (big tins of biscuits, bags of non-chocolate sweets, shop-bought cakes and mince pies.)

Kilpitlees · 31/12/2018 16:43

1 and a half boxes of crackers but not much cheese!
Half a packet of chocolate orange segments.
A layer of quality street in the tin.
Two small Christmas puddings with hidden satsumas.
Three bottles champagne.
Three bottles prosecco.
One mince pie.
A Christmas cake.
Half a box of mint matchmakers.
Five Turkish delight pieces.
Two tins three bird feast dog food.
Half a bottle Edinburgh gin rubato and ginger liquor.
Not too bad ...

ScreamingValenta · 31/12/2018 16:46

Unopened smoked salmon and pate, earmarked for lunch tomorrow.

A small amount of cheese.
Most of a tub of 'Celebrations'
Christmas cake (I sometimes still have Christmas cake left after 6 months!)

Justkeeprollingalong · 31/12/2018 16:49

Soft cheese (Brie, Stilton, Camembert etc), and most hard cheeses except for cheddar freeze very well.

thedoctorwillseeyounow · 31/12/2018 16:59

A load of chocolate.
A bunch of cheeses.
Half a panettone.
A few mince pies.
Lots of leftover party/ seasonal food (breaded garlic mushrooms, parsnips, etc) in the freezer.

zukiecat · 31/12/2018 17:01

None at all

I only buy enough for DD and me to have a nice Yule lunch, can't afford loads of extras

Neither of us drink alcohol at all, so no expense or leftovers there

ClashCityRocker · 31/12/2018 17:06

We have a fair whack of buffet food left which we will have tonight.

A turkey dinner tomorrow will take care of the rest!

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 31/12/2018 17:12

A few bits of cheese which will probably do tomorrow's lunch, a whole Christmas cake, which will last ages, a few mince pies, industrial quantities of chocolate, and some frozen party food which will be eaten at some point. Not too bad, really.

Yura · 31/12/2018 17:13

2 slices of christmas cake

Writersblock2 · 31/12/2018 17:38

How long will stollen keep for? Have an unopened one dated Boxing Day. Should be fine, right? It’s bloody Heston’s. Confused

SteakPie · 31/12/2018 17:41

We bought a bit too much because we were catering for a few more this year. It has meant I've not had to do much shopping!

Katedotness1963 · 31/12/2018 19:04

About a 1/3 of a Stollen, that will go out with a cup of tea this afternoon.
A Panettone, I'll French toast it, I think.
Some shortbread.
A couple of mince pies.
Some chocolate covered German gingerbread.

I think that's it, but no doubt will unearth something completely forgotten over the next few days.

delboysskinandblister · 01/01/2019 11:36

Mince pies (in freezer)
Small Christmas cake (use by June 19)
Some cheese but I’m using it up in meals so not an issue.
A pack of sliced ham, use by 30th Dec (using for sandwiches today 😊)
Bag of parsnips (going in soup)
Crisps - will go in tubs for packed lunches
Some lebuchan hearts (will eat in front of tv tonight).

MinesaPinot · 01/01/2019 12:18

Remains of the turkey crown chopped into chunks and put in the freezer. Same with remains of roast beef joint that we had the day after Boxing Day.

Chopped leftover cooked veg from Xmas Day and Thursday in freezer for bubble and squeak when needed.

We've got a little bit of cheese left along with some sausage rolls and nibbly bits - we'll have that for lunch today and I'll put a bacon joint in the pot for dinner later.

Apart from that we're not too bad. The booze and choccies will go over the year.

U2HasTheEdge · 01/01/2019 12:18

Just frozen turkey because my teens with hollow legs ate the whole bloody lot the day after Boxing Day.

birdsdestiny · 01/01/2019 12:20

Enough crisps/nuts to feed an army

Plus other stuff I can't think of!

LadyPenelope68 · 01/01/2019 12:25

Freezer full of roast spuds/parsnips
Sack of potatoes
Tin of shortbread

Chocolate oranges x 5
Stollen
Pigs in blankets x 4 packs
