3out · 29/12/2018 21:25

What’s pfb? I’ve managed to dodge that one!

Deadbudgie · 29/12/2018 21:26

Pfb - preferred first born

3out · 29/12/2018 21:27

Who would even say that?!

3out · 29/12/2018 21:28

Thanks for explaining :)

Beerflavourednipples · 29/12/2018 21:28

It's 'precious first born' isn't it?

Beerflavourednipples · 29/12/2018 21:29

Its often used in the context of parents being a bit batshit when their first baby is born.

3out · 29/12/2018 21:31

😂😂

ShinyMe · 29/12/2018 21:32

Anything that claims to be a "hack". Life hacks, cleaning hacks, home hacks, Christmas present hacks... all that bollocks.

Monestasi · 29/12/2018 21:33

Reaching out. Say contacted instead.
Absolutely. Say yes instead.
Obsessed with. Say likes instead.
Can I get. Say please may I have instead

Didn’t read past this as I’m not jaded enough to be remotely bothered by how someone asks for a coffee.

Blame myself for looking at this sad thread to begin with.

Cattenberg · 29/12/2018 21:39

Many that have been mentioned, plus:

Full fat Coke - this makes no sense
Man up - because only men are brave
Fell pregnant - sounds like an illness or terrible accident

And these annoying things Biscuit

Clevs · 29/12/2018 21:51

Super
Starting every sentence with 'so'.
Going forward - a phrase used by too many managers at work.

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 29/12/2018 21:52

Cattenberg Full fat coke is old. I remember calling it that back in the 80’s when Diet Coke first appeared. It was because milk was a more popular drink back then but you had to specify “ full fat” because semi skimmed was being promoted as healthier like Diet Coke was.
And it helped it wasn’t factually correct ...not taking it seriously..

GrouchyKiwi · 29/12/2018 21:57

"Clap back". Especially when whatever was said to "clap back" has each word separated by the clapping hands emoji.

Cattenberg · 29/12/2018 22:04

I didn't know that, BlueVelvet.

What do "clap back" and " this one" mean?

JustGettingStarted · 29/12/2018 22:06

"It is what it is."

Nothininmenoggin · 29/12/2018 22:09

*Whydontyou Fuck off to the far side of FuckGrinGrin brilliant. Personally hate any use of the word HUN it really grates on every nerve ending.

Thetruthwillout80 · 29/12/2018 22:48

Fuck That Shit

Actually, I can see me saying it, a lot, in 2019.

Yabbers · 29/12/2018 23:13

Snowflake. Anyone who uses it has no argument.

Deciding you can say whatever the hell you want about anyone or group of
people by following it by a rant about how people are just so offended by everything and they need to stop. This is usually followed by a meme of Stephen Fry.

One for my SN parent allies. "Welcome to Holland". Fuck off. Finding out DD has a disability and swimming through the treacle our life can be was nothing remotely like discovering I was taking a holiday in a different bloody Country from the one I thought. Unless that country was bloody Syria or something 😡

JimandPam · 29/12/2018 23:20

Agree with many of the pp (but also realise I'm guilty of some of the others 😬)

I need to know. What the actual fuck is 'shop the edit'?

highheelsandbobblehats · 29/12/2018 23:30

WrapAndRoll, does gammon have a meaning I'm unaware of or do you not like the name for that type of ham?!

nja31311 · 29/12/2018 23:32

"You do you"
"You got this!"
Both really irritate me

WrapAndRoll · 29/12/2018 23:38

highheels it's used as a derogatory blanket term for white middle aged men with right-of-centre political views who are getting annoyed and red in the face. Not denying people of this description exist, but they're entitled to their opinion and name-calling isn't helpful in trying to have a sensible debate (this applies both ways, of course).

WrapAndRoll · 29/12/2018 23:39

The ham is great though Grin
