Mine:

Nonsense of the highest order. Anyone else?

'Picky bits'. It's a buffet, and who is picking bits of what? Confused

'Fur baby'-I think you will find that's a cat.

Also agree with 'call out'. Everyone needs calling out about everything. Which just means you being a sticky beak really.

hippoherostandinghere · 29/12/2018 19:32

Making memories
Someone I know is constantly ' making memories with the princesses' 🙄

Also people who turn nouns into verbs unnecessarily.

dogzdinner · 29/12/2018 19:34

I don't know why but 'this one' actually makes me physically uncomfortable. It's like fingernails down a blackboard

AnyFucker · 29/12/2018 19:35

"Capture" when you mean photograph

Whatsnewpussyhat · 29/12/2018 19:40

"Cis" can fuck right off.
Along with "gender neutral"

clinkers · 29/12/2018 19:42

Oh God, yes to so many.

Also anything alcohol related - wine o'clock, gin o'clock etc.
Girl boss.
"Resonate" with something.

Any of those smug hashtags - #grateful #blessed #sorrynotsorry

Making Memories. Dreadful

Bumbalaya · 29/12/2018 19:49

Adulting
gaslighting

Whatjusthappenedthere · 29/12/2018 19:56

Sourcing something rather than shopping for it. Hmm

cstaff · 29/12/2018 19:58

Love you to the moon and back
Living the best life
Blessed
It is what it is

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 29/12/2018 19:59

It's in (my/their/his/your) DNA.

People on the radio saying "At the top of the programme". What was wrong with "At the start of the programme" anyway?

WhyDontYouComeOnOver · 29/12/2018 20:02

Personifying places.

"Glasgow, I am in you".

Fuck off to the far side of fuck.

Babyroobs · 29/12/2018 20:03

" My bad" !! My kids keep saying this to me and it's just ridiculous. Whatever happened to my mistake or whatever. It makes no sense and I detest it. The phrase is banned in my house.

Chillspot · 29/12/2018 20:12

"It's one of them innit."

...An utterly meaningless phrase.

13thWarriorWitch · 29/12/2018 20:16

Literal violence. (No, someone hurt your feelings)

Agree with identify as. (If you "identify" as something, you are, by definition NOT that something)

Safe space.

ForalltheSaints · 29/12/2018 20:29

Super
Amazing
Big
Little

all overused.

I wish Brexit could be as well, but that won't happen.

Beerflavourednipples · 29/12/2018 20:30

I actually used 'this one' on social media a few times before I realised it made me look like a right bellend!

paintinmyhairAgain · 29/12/2018 20:31

little man -no little woman then, are we not worthy? but then that would be awful too.
mama bear [insert other animal] - you're only following your protective instinct.
boobing the baby ffs
we're pregnant - you are, he isn't.

3out · 29/12/2018 20:41

Naice
CF
This one
Bants
Cheeky wee wine/Prosecco/gin etc
Chick
At the end of the day

Sparklingbrook · 29/12/2018 20:50

I forgot 'boobing the baby' or 'boob monster'. Just talk properly!

Myimaginaryreindeerhasfleas · 29/12/2018 20:52

My bad. Cannot tell you how much this winds me up. I could kill.

Also, weirdly, “turning” followed by age. As in, “she’s turning sixteen” instead of, “she’ll be sixteen”. I can’t explain why I hate this but I do.

Woodward12 · 29/12/2018 21:01

'Simple' or 'simples'. In the context of something like 'if you don't like it then just don't do it. Simples'. Ugh.

mimibunz · 29/12/2018 21:07

Gutted.

It’s overused. Tea’s gone cold? Gutted. Telly on the blink? Gutted. New eyebrows look daft? Gutted.

STAHP!

Tanith · 29/12/2018 21:09

I'd like to lose "invitation to play", "provocation" and "Wow moments" from all Early Years vocabularies.

Starisnotanumber · 29/12/2018 21:18

Enjoy!
No I've just bought this cake I don't need to be ordered to like it

Deadbudgie · 29/12/2018 21:18

Pfb - it’s so condescending many parents with just one are better parents than some with multiples.

Boobing the baby - you’re feeding the baby

Cis woman - you’re just a woman

I’ll keep triggered as I have ptsd and trust me being triggered is more than being upset!!
