Yesterday my special needs son had turned the light on in the hallway and threw open our door waking us up and the day before just threw the door open being so excited about Christmas. Today he was up at a reasonable time and he was bathed fed and medicated then calmly opened his gifts. I think the run up to big events gets him vs the actual event. Oh well we gave him a good Christmas.
