Gave up and started opening at 1.45am. Now everything is unwrapped and the living room is chaos. And I'm tired and in a shitty mood.

My 13 year old is still awake and has said she's staying up all night. Brother went to sleep around 12.30am after eating Yule Log he made and going round on her shoulders singing last Christmas, he's 11. I've been watching 4 Weddings and a Funeral. DH went to Mass then spent couple of hours wandering round before sleeping, thankfully he's cooking lunch.

3yo DD woke me just before 3am creeping around the house and will not go back to sleep, she's just too excited!

Up feeding my week old DS. DD 3 finally went to sleep at 10:20. We’ve accidentally lucked out it would appear. She’s not a massive fan of Santa so her stocking is downstairs. Daddy lets him in through the door like when ASDA bring the shopping.

Just got a few more hours of cluster feeding to get through and we can be up

Surely stockings are 'hung by the chimney with care' to stop DCs waking every five minutes to check?!

This year his mountain that we told people not to bother with presents are in his moses basket, as let's face it, he doesn't bloody sleep in it!

Been up for an hour with 11mo and dh was up for an hour before that. Really starting to despair. 4 yo sound asleep and luckily obeys his gro clock most mornings...

20 month old was up for 2 hours - she doesn't even know what Christmas is ffs! She's sleeping now but I can't wind down, and baby no 2 (due April) is kicking like crazy to keep me awake.

Is it too early to open some chocolate I wonder ?!?!

4am with the 5 month old so nothing to do with Christmas at all, I'm tempted to just let her get up, but I really want another 2 hours!

To be fair to her, it's usually midnight, 2 and 4 that she wakes for no reason so I really thought I was getting my Christmas wish of an all-night we when she still wasn't awake at 3.30!
