Anyone else not sleeping?

I'm wide awake and in pain! I've been having a gallstone attack since 9pm

Anyone else awake and very cross about it?

Me! I have the flu/bad cold and can't sleep because I slept for most of the day and have a completely blocked nose! Really wish I could sleep, child will be awake in 3 hours

Gallstones are hellish, you have my deepest sympathy.

Ouch. That sounds painful. I am awake. We have DS in our bed who has a bad cough and wakes up all of the time.

I've got a 2yo who will be up in a few hours too, luckily I know DH will get up with her for me. I am very jealous of how much of a deep sleep he's in right now...

I cant sleep becuase of pain in my hip, it's the same most nights. Oh the joys

I went to bed at 10pm like a good girl but woke up at 1am and can't settle again. My DH is fast asleep and I'm also jealous.

Yes! Dd woke at 2, unusually took 30 mins to settle and now I'm wide awake and cross about it. Looking at my phone won't be helping I'm sure...

I am up my Ds has the sickness bug I was up with last night.

Would rather it was me for the second night

I do not regret demanding my gallbladder be removed.
Put up with the pain once too often and then insisted GP had me referred for the op. Never been so bolshy before but year on so glad I was.

Awake for work in few hours.
Long stressful day means I can't wind down.
Will spend Saturday slogging through after an hour or so kip if I manage to nod off 😒

I'm heading off to try and sleep now - slept all day due to illness so finding it hard to sleep now...

I hope you feel better soon. I've just got in from my volunteering role and I'm shattered but can't sleep just yet. I need to sit in the quiet and chill but I've got to be up for 9am.

I'm awake but not cross. It's fairly normal for me, I'm a night owl who often doesn't go to bed until the early hours but this is late even for me. I picked DH up from his works' xmas party a couple of hours ago & while he is upstairs snoring like a warthog I'm still downstairs & wide awake. It might be because I had a nice nap at about 8 pm - silly me.

Hope all of you who are in pain manage some peaceful sleep soon.

Yup wide awake

I'm awake again. It's becoming a regular thing this new nocturnal life of mine. I can sleep but then am wide awake and that's it.

DD (5 months) is doing her 3am choir practice with intermittent thrashing around. Wish I knew why she was doing it every night.. although it does beat last night's full on screaming attack.

I can't sleep because it's a full moon and i fell asleep at 8:30 pm and s a mum of a toddler my body thinks I need to be awake after a 5 hour block of sleep.
Ive got a cold and gallstones too so I feel your pain.

I've got herniated disc so can't just jump up and will take me a long time to go off again! Despite being woken ...DH is snoring away !

And no doubt I will dream of frantically pushing a trolly round my dead grandmas house looking for a turkey that isn’t there and then, as dreams go suddenly I will be in a 1970s supermarket looking for the turkey and vacuum packed chestnuts and all I will be able to see is huge piles of crackers............"night night.

My bladder woke me up and now I can't go back to sleep because DH is breathing. That snorty, heavy, semi snoring, clicking, popping kind of breathing.
I also dreamt I had triplets earlier so I'm trying to name them.

all problems are relative.dont belittle ur own because to ur be it a stupped toe or broken foot if it hurts or bothers you then that big enough to.and I totally understand on the food order.i feel sick when its my dad for needing to jump on the door when it comes.

Asmallrole my mum has a ladder of reactions to ur problem. hold the nose.nudge his side.cover mouth and nose with hand(lightly.) then...."oi snoring!" with a bigger shove. works for like ten seconds anyway!

I’m at work and slightly grumpy because I’m not at home in bed. Will be worse tomorrow night.
