To ask which of these pictures to give to my mum?

I like landscape photography.

My mum said back in the summer that for her Christmas present from me she would like one of my photos framed (bless)

I've narrowed it down to 3 but not sure which to choose.

Can I borrow some mumsnet wisdom to help me decide?

By the way this is not a fishing for compliments exercise, I am no David Bailey (he's a photographer...right?)

My favourite is the 3rd one, in black & white.

Would she prefer to see thumbnails of them and choose herself?

Or maybe as pp has suggested, have all three printed and provide her with a frame so she can change them around when she'd like a change?

Personally I'd choose the first one, but it's not an easy choice

First or third get my vote Smile

They’re all lovely, but it depends on the colours in the room she wants to put it. My fav is the sunset one. So vivid. My least fav is the heathery moor. I like the water one, but have seen a few like it.

So I’d choose the sunset - it will be unique! Nobody else will have captured the same sunset!

Lovely pressie, op.

Middle one....no contest......I could look at that all day but then I love the Edges....so fresh and open....can be desolate but you've captured warmth and promise too.

Looking at them again, I’d buy number 1 - it looks like the sky is on fire. I do like 3 especially as I love running water but I’ve seen similar images on calendars etc, whereas 1 is unique.
Two is nice but it just doesn’t really appeal to me in the way of 1 and 3.
It’s hard to say if 1 would be too dramatic for neutral decor, but I think it would look spectacular.
