To wonder who anyone can look themselves in the mirror, if they still support the EU, after Juncker's appalling behaviour recently?

Whatever you think of Theresa May, she was handed a poison chalice after that clown David Cameron jumped ship when the LEAVE vote won the EU referendum, and she is trying to please everyone (failing a bit obviously!) But much of the shitstorm of Brexit is not her fault!

Nevertheless, the president of the EU -Jean Claude Juncker - sees fit not only to slag her off behind her back, calling her 'nebulous,' but he also claimed she tried to kiss him afterwards.

As if that wasn't enough, he was seen ruffling an EU official's hair in a condescending 'aren't you a cutie'manner! A woman obviously. He would never have done it to a man!

What a misogynistic, repugnant creep he is. And just pretty much represents the EU. Controlling, manipulative, misogynistic, rude, insulting, and dismissive.

Anyone who still supports the EU now, should hang their head in shame. To support an organisation with someone like that at the helm needs to sort themselves and their priorities out, and wake up to what the EU really is. A misogynistic, obnoxious, controlling, rich boys club, who are sore and wounded that the UK are taking their £350 million a week away from them, not singing to their tune, and not taking things lying down.

Dreadful man. Dreadful organisation.

The sooner we are out of the European Union, the better! No deal will suit me just fine. And I know plenty more who think the same.

VeryQuaintIrene · 15/12/2018 21:26

But her plans are completely nebulous. Where's the lie?

Justanotherlurker · 15/12/2018 22:06

The irony is that the hard brexiteers are also neoliberal free trade obsessives
who have close links to all manner of shady right wing often American think tanks !

You really have this the wrong way round, the irony is that the pro EU is the real neoliberal, higher taxes/banks,Businesses threatening to leave because of brexit (told you so), under Corbyn yeah fuck them its a right wing conspiracy

AmIRightOrAMeringue · 15/12/2018 22:10

Um...so if Jeremy Corbyn got voted in, anyone that still supported the concept of having a prime minister should hang their head in shame for believing in a UK democracy and be personably responsible for every shitty thing he did?

I think you're confusing person, system, state, and head of state

trancepants · 15/12/2018 22:18

One of your MPs suggested threatening food shortages to Ireland. Something your country actually did in recent history. It was a disgusting, disgusting threat. And it was real and genuine and not distorted fake news. One of the very, very worst possible threats a politician can make.

Or at least it would be if it wasn't also very, very, very stupid to threaten the world's most food secure country, a massive net exporter of food, with food shortages. Ireland could feed itself multiple times over. Especially when your own country is massively food insecure and only produces 60% of it's own food and relies on food imports. But sure Junker stating facts about May is disgusting.

AmIRightOrAMeringue · 15/12/2018 22:19

Why does everyone think the EU o desperately want the UK market? We represent only 10pc of the EU. The EU represents almost 50pc of the UK market share. Who do you think k has more to lose? Losing 10pc of your market share (morwith likely it dropping a bit with increased costs) is hard for companies to cope with but not impossible

Aquilla · 15/12/2018 22:24

Very amusing to see all the middle class socialists desperately try and defend that man!
No. Blimmin. Deal.

Justanotherlurker · 15/12/2018 22:24

Ireland could feed itself multiple times over.

Ireland is about to significantly fucked for giving multinationals a significant tax break, thats ignoring the over heated housing situation going on. Lets not pretend that Ireland is some UK utopia.

From the dictionary. Seems to perfectly define the UK government position.

LellyMcKelly · 15/12/2018 22:30

You do know that Juncker is not the EU, don’t you? How on earth can you not know that?

Goingonandonandon · 15/12/2018 22:33

He said that the negotiating position of the UK can be seen as nebulous. I have just re-watched the original clip. French is my first language. You are clutching at straws to be honest.

Maybe you should focus on what her own party is calling her behind her back and to her face.

And also, what people in this country say about the EU and some of its leaders being 'dictators'. Remember that famous quote from Farage about MEPs having 'never done a day's work'? photo attached just to remind you.

To wonder who anyone can look themselves in the mirror, if they still support the EU, after Juncker's appalling behaviour recently?
Pachyderm1 · 15/12/2018 22:35

The EU is not Juncker and you’re embarrassingly immature if you base your views on an whole organisation on your opinion of one of its officials.

OrangeJellySpread · 15/12/2018 22:38

Fuck me OP. How do you get through life? Thats one of the dumbest Brexit argument ive ever heard!

MaisyPops · 15/12/2018 22:41

You lost me when you equated one man with a bloc of 27 nations
This.

Daisymay2 · 15/12/2018 22:46

Let's face it.....Juncker was spot on when he described May's position as nebulous. And he has treated her very respectfully compared with Rees Mogg, Boris et al. Frankly I would rather be in the EU than be a vassal state of the US A which appears to be the direction we are heading under the Brexiteers ideas.

trancepants · 15/12/2018 22:51

Ireland is about to significantly fucked for giving multinationals a significant tax break, thats ignoring the over heated housing situation going on. Lets not pretend that Ireland is some UK utopia.

I said Ireland can feed itself multiple times over. It can. Ireland is a mass food producer and produces far, far more food than it's population needs. The worst outcomes of Brexit will see Ireland with a brief period of exotic food shortages but no shortages of any necessary food groups. There is a greater likelihood of food being destroyed if exports are held up than any sort of starvation.

The multinational tax situation and the somewhat engineered housing situation have precisely fuck all to do with the fact that Ireland produces far, far, far, far, far, more food than it's population needs. While the UK would not be able to feed a large percentage of it's population if it had to self-rely. Ireland is not vulnerable to threats of food restrictions but despite the utter stupidity of it, it's still fucking despicable to suggest using such threats as leverage.

missperegrinespeculiar · 15/12/2018 22:51

oh dear Lord, what should the EU think of us then? Boris Johnson? Farage? half the Tories really

grow up, this is politics, the future of our country, not speed dating, it's about policies not your gut feelings about a specific man!

Heyjudas · 15/12/2018 22:52

Oh jaysis.

Helmetbymidnight · 15/12/2018 22:55

Brexiteers constantly blow my mind with their bizarre ‘thought’ processes.

Maelstrop · 15/12/2018 23:10

He's asked that she states what she wants, I think that's fair enough. So far, it appears that she has asked the EU what they will offer us. She needs to be clear and state xyz, not ask, ffs!

Well if this is the level of intellectual reasoning that is going to power us after Brexit what do we have to fear.

BeachtheButler · 16/12/2018 00:00

I can and once Brexit is done, I'll be working for our re-admittance to the EU.
