To wonder who anyone can look themselves in the mirror, if they still support the EU, after Juncker's appalling behaviour recently?

Whatever you think of Theresa May, she was handed a poison chalice after that clown David Cameron jumped ship when the LEAVE vote won the EU referendum, and she is trying to please everyone (failing a bit obviously!) But much of the shitstorm of Brexit is not her fault!

Nevertheless, the president of the EU -Jean Claude Juncker - sees fit not only to slag her off behind her back, calling her 'nebulous,' but he also claimed she tried to kiss him afterwards.

As if that wasn't enough, he was seen ruffling an EU official's hair in a condescending 'aren't you a cutie'manner! A woman obviously. He would never have done it to a man!

What a misogynistic, repugnant creep he is. And just pretty much represents the EU. Controlling, manipulative, misogynistic, rude, insulting, and dismissive.

Anyone who still supports the EU now, should hang their head in shame. To support an organisation with someone like that at the helm needs to sort themselves and their priorities out, and wake up to what the EU really is. A misogynistic, obnoxious, controlling, rich boys club, who are sore and wounded that the UK are taking their £350 million a week away from them, not singing to their tune, and not taking things lying down.

Dreadful man. Dreadful organisation.

The sooner we are out of the European Union, the better! No deal will suit me just fine. And I know plenty more who think the same.

2/10. This post lacks originality, creativity and a grasp of the facts. Must try harder.

Controlling, manipulative, misogynistic, rude, insulting, and dismissive

So pretty much like JRM, BJ and NF.

We are in a house made of glass we need to be careful about throwing stones.

aconcertpianist · 15/12/2018 16:32

There is something distasteful about him. Am I right in thinking he turned Luxembourg into a place where people could do clever things with avoiding tax? He is paid almost £2million a year isn't he but I suppose wine is expensive!

derxa · 15/12/2018 16:35

I voted Remain but I agree with your post OP. The EU is a corrupt institution and Juncker is a corrupt man.

Shinesweetfreedom · 15/12/2018 16:38

With you on this op.EU corrupt. No I don’t want to be part of the United States of Europe to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

YouTheCat · 15/12/2018 16:41

Nigel, is that you?

mimibunz · 15/12/2018 16:41

Oh please grow up. Juncker isn’t the EU!

eurochick · 15/12/2018 16:41

And we had a prime minister who fucked a pig. America has a president who thinks pussy grabbing is fine. Most politicians are twats. what's your point?

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 15/12/2018 16:43

I voted Remain, but Juncker is one reason I had to at least partially hold my nose.
Loathsome man, and something of a Napoleon IMO - can't bear to see his gravy-train empire dwindling.

nicoala1 · 15/12/2018 16:43

No problem with some not wanting to be in the EU anymore.

But the way it was done by Government deserves derision from everyone really. Incompetent infighting idiots and the laughing stock of the world.

That is reality.

Junker is not the EU. But the EU know idiocy and incompetence when they see it too. They did not put any pressure on UK ever, nor did they slag them off either. Professionals they are. Compare and contrast.

Give me one reason why the EU should lick the boots of the UK now. Just one will do. Thanks.

Moussemoose · 15/12/2018 16:44

I think @eurochick has just about summed up the state of politicians at the moment. We are in no position to criticise. BJ anyone?

F1ame · 15/12/2018 16:45

OP - David Cameron did not really “jump ship” as you put it. He really could not have been more clear that he thought Britain was better off in the EU. When the public vote disagreed with him, he could hardly have justified staying on to see Brexit through, could he? He had to fall on his own sword. How can you take on a cause you don’t believe in?

The real scandal was that not one if the Brexiteer camp was prepared to take on the mantle.

Farage - spends his entire life campaigning for a referendum. He gets one and wins. What does he do - resigns! It beggars belief.

Boris - for all his flouncing about and false-promise slogans on buses, did not step up because he didn’t want the inevitable shitstorm of Brexit to be his legacy and he knew there was no plan to see it through.

TM voted Remain. The Brexit mob had their chance but none of them stepped up when it counted. They don’t have a leg to stand on in criticising her deal. Odious fools.

Now I see Farage has come back out from under his rock with more rhetoric, trying to incite more hatred and appealing to the lowest common denominator of society again.

Yes Nigel, her deal is crap, but you buggered off when it counted so shut up.

This man has done more damage to Britain than anyone else alive today imo. All talk, no action - appealing to the worst side of human nature, but no genuine policies to see this mess though. Nobody knew what Brexit would even look like. Well this is it. Total embarrassment to the UK in every level and monumental waste of time, focus and money.

Sethis · 15/12/2018 16:47

I was going to reply, then decided I couldn't be bothered.

Biologifemini · 15/12/2018 16:47

Junker is dreadful but most people can see this piss head will retire soon.
The EU is not junker however he is awful for their PR. He is an absolute sexist dinosaur and didn’t help the remain campaign one iota.

DustyMaiden · 15/12/2018 16:49

Baby, bath water.

@redandyellowandpinkandgreen99
You're definitely not ready to hear about Jacob rees mogg then... Hmm

gerispringer · 15/12/2018 16:51

If nebulous is the worst thing she has had said about her she’s got off lightly. I can look at myself fine in the mirror, thanks, but I don’t know how leave voters can pat themselves on the back when they’ve initiated the worst example of self harm in history since the civil war. One man is not an embodiment of an institution, look at the numpties we’ve got running the U.K. at the moment.

derxa · 15/12/2018 16:53

The EU is not junker however he is awful for their PR. Somebody must have appointed him knowing his history though.

CaptainsYuleLog · 15/12/2018 16:54

Looking like a fine European.

Runningbutnotscared · 15/12/2018 16:54

I really really have a mega crush on Juncker.

I’m for him being next PM

NotDavidTennant · 15/12/2018 16:55

Boris Johnson.
Boris Johnson.

Boris Johnson.

Oblomov18 · 15/12/2018 16:58

I find him a bit cringe. Generally. I just can't take to him.
But not for the OP reasons. Totally unreasonable reasons OP.

IrenetheQuaint · 15/12/2018 16:58

Juncker is grim but that doesn't mean it's in the UK's national interests to leave the EU (let alone without a deal). They're entirely separate points.

Imissgmichael · 15/12/2018 16:58

Voted leave. Cant stand Nigel Farage and would never vote UKIP. I agree with the OPs post. Junker may not be the EU but he is a representative of it and epitomises everything that is wrong about the institution.
